My mother never ask us 9 kids what we wanted to eat ,we ate whatever she made, God bless you mom you rock 👍
I don't think she does that every day because it's not easy for everydays life
I do that sometimes…
I ask my kids but I give them 2 options also 🤣🤣 gives them choice but they still eating whatever I choose.
My parents would ask sometimes; mostly momma would ask if she discerned a bad day at school; she would ask if we wanted what ever our favorite meal was, and all 9 of us had different favorite foods; she knew what everyone’s favorite was; sometimes she would make it the next day because she had to make sure she had all the ingredients for the meal and dessert.
Yes we ate whatever my mum cooked too

I have 3 sons and they were taught to cook with assistance at 8. It was a way for me to get them to read recipes and comprehension was my way to keep up with there studies.

My mom used to ask what we want, and unnecessary people thought she was spoiling us. I did the same with my children. In doing that I used to tell them, you made the choice, so you must finish it. I love what that you are doing that.

I was about to ask if the kids are ok especially Heze,Halle and Houston. Heze sounds like he has got the flu. This kids are so blessed to almost always spend time together, eat together and play together, wow. The world is so busy we barely have time for anything, ourselves or even for family 😥.

Even Hosanna sounded a bit stuffed up, the weather is no one's friend right now. I also agree about 9 to 5's robbing us of the opportunity to just be present. I read something in passing that said that most people's marriages/family life is reduced to just a couple of hours in the evening and it scared the hell out of me because I realised how true it is hence why I'd say if you can find a career that has flexibility you are blessed

Hi Grimwade Family! Great Video, Thank You for the Awesome Memories! When I was little, we had breakfast at the family table as well as supper. Lunch time was at home or school. The same as our children while their growing up, at the table, every once in a while they had breakfast at school. but most of the time at home. I cooked for 5 days out of the week, my husband 2 days, but Friday’s were special, no special menu, soup and sandwiches, pizza, tacos, chicken, Chinese etc. ! Enjoyed those days, the Children are grown up now living on their own. God Bless You Family!

Mommy, make up small menus and have them check their breakfast requests the night before. I’ve seen this done in the school system so that the cafeteria person knows what to serve ahead of time. Instead of asking them what they want for breakfast maybe you can use this time to ask them what they are grateful for, since you guys are a praying family, I think or asked them what's their goals for today. I love you guys very much and I hope to meet you all one day. Love myself some Harper. She tries to keep up with her big sisters and she does a great job at it. She's a very smart young lady. They all are 🥰

So having said all of that they should be allowed to have what they want from to time. I love them because honey I have seen CZcamsrs with some bad disrespectful children who parents have became rich and bought them 1 Million Dollars home and they are more unappreciative than never before.
