Justice for Spaghetti - NAFAF 2022

- Critically anorexic condition, Spaghetti was someone’s dog! His overall body condition is horrific. He tested negative for the common viruses that could cause this kind of deterioration. He is at least 50 pounds underweight, Spaghetti’s initial lab results are surprisingly unremarkable which only means his skeletal frame was created intentionally!!
He has pressure sores on his boney parts of his body. His gums are severely pale due to anemia caused by malnourishment. His nails were extremely overgrown and urine stained and his body wreaked of foul odor.
Spaghetti is admitted to @baystreetanimalhospital and we pray that it’s not too late for him to recover. His organs are taxed and have been abused.

CRITICAL EMERGENCY- On Sunday, our trusted vet team reached out to us - NAFAF and @pitbullsandaddicts - asking for assistance with this extremely upsetting severe neglect case. One look at this dog and immediately we both said we would collectively help in any way possible.
Named Spaghetti, he is currently with @dogtor_aanonsen and great team at @baystreetanimalhospital receiving emergency care.
We will continue to update as we receive info.
What we do know is that he is STARVING! He is a skeleton with fur!
He is receiving fluids and he does want to eat.

Sounds like he was put in a crate and no one cared if he lived or died. His emotional condition is apparent. He has probably never since a small puppy had any interaction or allowed to be a dog, run, play. Thank God someone discovered him.

I am wondering why you were feeding this dog chicken and trying to get him to jump when he could not even stand. You also lost 2 other emaciated dogs. I have read and seen videos of emaciated dogs which say that the feeding for these poor survivors must be done agonizingly slowly to prevent their organs shutting down. I really found this video very uncomfortable with people standing around the dog, him sitting on a hard surface while they stood around talking about him like he was just a prop. He should have been in a soft, comfortable bed with tubes coming out of his poor body, not sitting there waiting to be helped.

Same here. It was very disturbing to see a presentation like a photo opt shoot. That was disgusting as if propping up the dog for funding!!
