I am a man almost forty years old and this tore my heart to pieces. People are not the only ones to traumatize animals, but it is undoubtedly certain that people traumatized him, though we do not know who or how many. I am so relieved he could finally sleep peacefully. Thank you so much for taking care of him, thank you.
Noori’s story has all the feels. Such a heartbreaking and then beautiful story. It was fascinating to see how the vet team used colour and aroma therapy, along with traditional medication and physio to help this good boy heal. I think there’s a lot to learn from this group, from their use of various therapies to the effort, commitment, and care they put into every rescue. They are real heroes!
I'm glad Noori was rescued and adopted. Thanks to the girl who didn't ignore him and just walk away. The adopters seem like wonderful people. The man actually made him something comfortable to sleep in and relax. When he would try to fall asleep in the beginning of the video and he would wake up screaming, I wanted to lay beside him and tell him no more hurt and he's going to be alright. Live long and happy Noori.

Yes, I totally agree. She couldn't adopt him but it was because of her that he has a new family who is giving all that he needs to thrive. He's probably better there than the city anyway.
The veterinarian who was willing to look at the emotional needs of the poor little guy should be recognized as a visionary. The testing he and the other kind-hearted people engaged in made it possible for him to be adopted by people who understood his situation and were willing to adapt their lives to make his better. What a wonderful story of a whole group of wonderful people.
Those Vets did a fantastic job...it looks like he's on the mend from his trauma...He's always going to struggle physically but he has a lovely owner to take care of him.
When he kept crying after she woke him up I started crying 😭 it's that moment when you wake up from a really bad dream and you realized it's a dream but you still cry bcuz the memory is still haunting you and you realize it

I would take him in my arms and lay with him on my chest every second of every day, whatever it took, to let him know he is loved and cherished and no one will ever hurt him again. Until he understood he will be okay and get rid somehow of that PTSD. I’m crying for him.

Rescued one that did this for 8 months everytime it went to sleep. Finally coming out of it. Lots of love and care and laying with it through its nightmares and just giving it love.
Same here! That poor baby must have been soo tired, I wonder how long he slept for? Im actually amazed that the light and oils helped so much, it was probably very much also that he was sleeping inside too. But still, how many nights did that restful sleep take once he waz off the street i wonder... I love him so much! Im soo happy he has a caring family now ♡♡♡
I can't imagine the horror this precious boy relives ever time he closes his eyes. Not only is he physically scarred, but also mentally and emotionally traumatized. Real life PTSD in a poor sweet and innocent dog. I pray God will heal him and bring him peace, comfort, love, security, and happiness. I’m glad he found a good family, I cried during this video. Anyone who harms an animal should be horribly punished. His crying made me want to hold and rock him in my arms. 🐶😢

@@Ignacio.Romero it was aroma therapy. essential oils. i've used it from time to time on my dog too when he gets anxious or a little too crazy it doesn't harm the dog or drug the dog in any way only calms them down. same as it does for humans.
I've just started playing this video and our Labrador got really concerned: she was looking to see where the dog was: her head cocked from one side to the other. She knew there was another dog in distress. She ran to the window looking and checked on our elderly boxer cross and even licked the cat to offer comfort. Whatever happened to this dog, our dog wanted to comfort him/her. It's so sad, our dog ( Bonnie) has never looked so worried at hearing another dog making a noise. I hope this dog finds comfort and peace. Xx
My dog did the same, she was abused, starved and dumped at my home, it took me a week of feeding her to get close to her, and I never let her go. She helps with my depression, snuggles me constantly, she saved me right back. God is so good to bring her to me.
The same happened with my little Llasa. Bruce got extremelly disturbed looking where the cries where coming from. I had to hug him and kiss him a long time to chill him down.
Omg me too I balled when he was so tired he bumped his head into the wall...I just wanted to bring him in my bed and cover him with the blankets and hold him all night while he sleeps
I felt the poor thing’s exhaustion. Imagine never being able to sleep for more than a few minutes without terrible nightmares. Animals suffer just like we do.

Just the first few seconds listening to him scream out in fear and pain in his sleep brought tears to my eyes. Poor Noori definitely has severe ptsd. Soo horrible to see how he had no escape from the pain that was inflicted upon him. This team of vets and aids are heros for helping Noori find just what he needs to have peace.

Nobody can for sure know what happened to him, if he was abused or injured himself but he has this mental issue for some reason and it affects his behavior.

I don't think I've ever seen a case this bad before. It hurt my heart to watch him suffer. I wonder what kind of people would torture him like that? I wasn't aware of the effects of light and aromatherapy used together but I'm extremely glad it worked. the people who took him in, seem like good people. I hope his life only improves from here. ❤️

It's pretty amazing how an animal who was so badly hurt and traumatized by humans is able to trust in them again and be open to forming new, trusting bonds with them. Speaks volumes about their compassion and forgiveness and spirit. So glad people gave him a reason to trust again.
This is so heartbreaking to watch, I'm finding it difficult to type thru my tears. I will NEVER understand how anyone could abuse an animal. My dog is like my second child and I would do anything to keep him from feeling any pain. All they want to do is love us unconditionally and be loved back. I can't imagine the trauma and pain this poor pup has endured, and my only hope it's that the rest of his life is filled with nothing but love, affection and care. He deserves nothing less!
I adopted a 1 yr 1/2 shepweiler from a friends brother I have know idea what this dog went through but he still wakes me every once in awhile with nightmares and I just hold him and keep telling him its going to be ok. Hes the most loving dog. I've had him for 2 yrs now. Hes will never be traumatized by anyone ever again.

I have adopted 5 dogs from a Puppy Farm l saw them on a website they have all been a joy to have in my life, l have lost two in the last seven weeks life is not the same.
The very same thing happened to the dog I rescued almost 5 years ago now. She had been used as a bait dog to start the blood lust for larger dogs who fought in a pit for gamblers who enjoyed watching them tear each other apart. She was only 4 mths old and only 19lbs when I adopted her. Her back left leg and right front leg had to be sewed back on. She wouldn't bark at first and she had nightmares every night. No crying out though, only jerking and shaking. I put her up in the bed with me and hubby who had been empty nesters for years now and had just lost our nearly twelve year old Chihuahua. We wanted to give our love to another dog and I'm so happy to say it was Hannah. The skinny lil puppy with huge long stitched up gashes soon went away and was replaced with a beautiful coat. Within the first month she had already more than doubled her weight at 40 lbs. She started "talking" to us and barking. And, she loves people and other dogs... which is amazing. The nightmares stopped only after a few weeks and now years later she seldom has a nightmare. She is a 70 pound black mouth cur and is a happy dog. I never got to meet the vet surgeon who saved Hannah but I'm so glad he did. Her wounds were so bad most vets would have probably put her down and not tried. My husband and I were grieving our dog we lost so badly when we went to the rescue shelter that day that I wasn't sure whether we could love the way a new dog would deserve to be loved. Some dogs get a second chance and so do some people. Hannah got her chance at life and love, and we did also. With a grateful heart I can say we saved each other in many ways.
I know I shouldn't, but I'm going to be honest & admit that I hope those who did that suffer worse before death. I have true blood red hate for ppl who harm innocent animals like that. Plus animals don't have many rights, so it's not like it's always easy to seek justice for them. I'm so sorry for your baby, I can't even imagine. My heart hurts & I'm sitting here crying bc it's so disgusting what ppl do to these innocent animals. 🙏 I'm so glad your dog found you. They all deserve homes like ours My dog is like a child to me & is defffffff loved. I can't imagine not having him to sleep next to every night. Sry, got off topic. But yeah, we need more homes like ours for these babies. Thankfully more ppl are coming around & seeing dogs as more than just animals, many who used to not really care that much are more & more getting disgusted by evil ppl like the ones who hurt your dog, bc they're seeing that these precious pups are family members, not just feeling-less/emotionless pets (like they used to be treated a long time ago). @FlyingMonkies325 What they meant is that the dog is clearly exhausted from the way he behaves. He's constantly staggering and struggling to keep his eyes open, and when he does try to sleep, he just collapses. That's all they meant.
I would just put him next to me in my bed and hug and pet him while he falls asleep , so he feels safe and warm and knows he is in a secure environment. Poor beautiful dog 😔
Yes MY dog sometimes gets in bed in middle of the night stress out! And calms down after! I let the 🚪 open since then he knows when to be alone and when not
Sadly it doesn't work like this.. Therapy is needed like humans need it too.. It has been abuse here, violence, this dog is traumatized with cptsd signs.. I am surprised he is so good when awaken.. But he is dangerous cause anything that will trigger his fears would let him overreact.. violently

I can't imagine the horror this precious boy relives ever time he closes his eyes. Not only is he physically scarred, but also mentally and emotionally traumatized. Real life PTSD in a poor sweet and innocent dog. I pray God will heal him and bring him peace, comfort, love, security, and happiness. I've just started playing this video and our Labrador got really concerned: she was looking to see where the dog was: her head cocked from one side to the other. She knew there was another dog in distress. She ran to the window looking and checked on our elderly boxer cross and even licked the cat to offer comfort.
Whatever happened to this dog, our dog wanted to comfort him/her.
It's so sad, our dog ( Bonnie) has never looked so worried at hearing another dog making a noise.

My dog did the same, she was abused, starved and dumped at my home, it took me a week of feeding her to get close to her, and I never let her go. She helps with my depression, snuggles me constantly, she saved me right back. God is so good to bring her to me.
The same happened with my little Llasa. Bruce got extremelly disturbed looking where the cries where coming from. I had to hug him and kiss him a long time to chill him down.

Just the first few seconds listening to him scream out in fear and pain in his sleep brought tears to my eyes. Poor Noori definitely has severe ptsd. Soo horrible to see how he had no escape from the pain that was inflicted upon him. This team of vets and aids are heros for helping Noori find just what he needs to have peace.

It is heartbreaking to see him so traumatized he can t sleep peacefully but seeing him finally being able to sleep safe and sound for the first time is unbelievably sweet. My heart goes out to him and all those angels out there who help repair the damage caused by all those evil monsters who prey on helpless animals like poor Noury. I don't think I've ever seen a case this bad before. It hurt my heart to watch him suffer. I wonder what kind of people would torture him like that? I wasn't aware of the effects of light and aromatherapy used together but I'm extremely glad it worked. the people who took him in, seem like good people. I hope his life only improves from here. ❤️

This is so heartbreaking to watch, I'm finding it difficult to type thru my tears. I will NEVER understand how anyone could abuse an animal. My dog is like my second child and I would do anything to keep him from feeling any pain. All they want to do is love us unconditionally and be loved back. I can't imagine the trauma and pain this poor pup has endured, and my only hope it's that the rest of his life is filled with nothing but love, affection and care. He deserves nothing less!
I adopted a 1 yr 1/2 shepweiler from a friends brother I have know idea what this dog went through but he still wakes me every once in awhile with nightmares and I just hold him and keep telling him its going to be ok. Hes the most loving dog. I've had him for 2 yrs now. Hes will never be traumatized by anyone ever again.

The very same thing happened to the dog I rescued almost 5 years ago now. She had been used as a bait dog to start the blood lust for larger dogs who fought in a pit for gamblers who enjoyed watching them tear each other apart. She was only 4 mths old and only 19lbs when I adopted her. Her back left leg and right front leg had to be sewed back on. She wouldn't bark at first and she had nightmares every night. No crying out though, only jerking and shaking. I put her up in the bed with me and hubby who had been empty nesters for years now and had just lost our nearly twelve year old Chihuahua. We wanted to give our love to another dog and I'm so happy to say it was Hannah. The skinny lil puppy with huge long stitched up gashes soon went away and was replaced with a beautiful coat. Within the first month she had already more than doubled her weight at 40 lbs. She started "talking" to us and barking. And, she loves people and other dogs... which is amazing. The nightmares stopped only after a few weeks and now years later she seldom has a nightmare. She is a 70 pound black mouth cur and is a happy dog. I never got to meet the vet surgeon who saved Hannah but I'm so glad he did. Her wounds were so bad most vets would have probably put her down and not tried. My husband and I were grieving our dog we lost so badly when we went to the rescue shelter that day that I wasn't sure whether we could love the way a new dog would deserve to be loved. Some dogs get a second chance and so do some people. Hannah got her chance at life and love, and we did also. With a grateful heart I can say we saved each other in many ways.
I know I shouldn't, but I'm going to be honest & admit that I hope those who did that suffer worse before death. I have true blood red hate for ppl who harm innocent animals like that. Plus animals don't have many rights, so it's not like it's always easy to seek justice for them. I'm so sorry for your baby, I can't even imagine. My heart hurts & I'm sitting here crying bc it's so disgusting what ppl do to these innocent animals. 🙏 I'm so glad your dog found you. They all deserve homes like ours My dog is like a child to me & is defffffff loved. I can't imagine not having him to sleep next to every night. I've even pulled out of family vacays bc he couldn't come & I didn't want to leave him. we actually have great friends who work in a no kill shelter & love dogs just as much as I do, but my bub gets anxiety & depressed when we're all gone, so even though he'd be in safe hands, I just couldn't bare leaving knowing the stress he'd be in. Sry, got off topic. But yeah, we need more homes like ours for these babies. Thankfully more ppl are coming around & seeing dogs as more than just animals, many who used to not really care that much are more & more getting disgusted by evil ppl like the ones who hurt your dog, bc they're seeing that these precious pups are family members, not just feeling-less/emotionless pets (like they used to be treated a long time ago). I would just put him next to me in my bed and hug and pet him while he falls asleep , so he feels safe and warm and knows he is in a secure environment. Poor beautiful dog 😔
Baby steps. You can't wake up a dog from a bad dream, he can possibly bite you.
My daughter does that when her dog has nightmares. She get calm. She raise her since she had 2 months old and she always sleep with her.
Yes MY dog sometimes gets in bed in middle of the night stress out! And calms down after! I let the 🚪 open since then he knows when to be alone and when not
I would do that too.
Sadly it doesn't work like this.. Therapy is needed like humans need it too.. It has been abuse here, violence, this dog is traumatized with cptsd signs.. I am surprised he is so good when awaken.. But he is dangerous cause anything that will trigger his fears would let him overreact.. violently

I also hope that they’ll pray to the lord Jesus so Jesus can show mercy and be able to save them. That is what I was thinking! When my dogs have bad dreams I sit next to the and pet them. Then they go back to sleep peacefully.
