in ally in the desert you can run into the propellers of the airplane at the end and you get twisted sideways enough you can fly up in the air by banking funny thing i discovered when playing around this mission just dont go too high or you quickly find yourself lost in the sandstorm

A game-specific tweak is to have overclock at around 160%, along with GTE overclock to have a smoother 30 fps experience.
You play in ps1? How could you switch to a certain weapon? I remember only circle button was changing weapons and they had a specific order, meaning that I pressed multiple times to get my camera at hand xD. Thank you for reviving my childhood memories!
If you press fast enough, you can skip in-between switching animation and land directly on your desired weapon. Yes, it's the unmodified PS1 version, no other exist.

There are instances of unavoidable gunfire, especially so in Underground, where the player being hit is determined by pure luck. Not to mention bugs, where projectiles can hit you through walls. It's definitely possible, but it would be torture to make footage of.

It makes the mouse move the camera in-game, even if the game originally did not have such functionality. Any emulator supports binding buttons to you keyboard and mouse, it's the aiming that's important. You will have to manually bind the gamepad controls to keyboard/mouse to your liking. I would recommend a modern PC control scheme like W/A/S/D for movement, E for action/reload, LMB to shoot, etc.

What's so shocking about them? They're bonus stages. Allegedly, they're scrapped levels from the first game that didn't make the cut, nor fit into the story progression, so they got repurposed as bonus/reward stages in this, second game.

Yes and no. There are 5 presets to choose from and the biggest difference is playing on a dpad vs analog sticks. In emulation software it's possible to remap the controls to match modern fps layouts. Lastly, it's possible to play it with mouse aim thanks to recent advancements with mouse injector tool, but that's for emulation software once again.

Yeah, all you have to do is input 2 passcodes and it will unlock everything.
