Oh no, Scenarios are ending types. Scenario A is only achievable if all positive outcome conditions are met. Billy is the earliest condition, and failing the blood transfusion or not giving him the body armor can change your Scenario to E.

Oh, you definitely can. Explosives can OHKO and a burst of enemy machine gun can cut your health down in seconds. It's just that there's a lot of effort in this video.

Hoho, haven't made it past 2013 yet and still haven't finished the U in LAU trilogy. It definitely was missing in 2013 and each rendition of classic PS1 Manor was a treat. At least in 5 there was a fly-by cam of it.

Oh, the remasters! They have some changes, but my existing TR1/2/3 walkthroughs are still applicable for those.

There's a difference in all difficulties, but not in the way you'd expect. It changes the emergency box resources and their amount. On very hard you get the least resources. But if you play with no damage and poison darts in mind, you still won't have much trouble. Less inventory management!

TR2Main is great, but it's also a work-in-progress. With PC community patches, it does bother me a bit that at some point the video is going to be a bit obsolete in terms of enhancements. The PS1 version is an unchanging constant, and emulation enhancements don't get much innovation lately, so it's practically "as good as it gets". It's also good to have platform-specific videos, not only for preservation purposes, but also because there can be quirks not present in the PC version, like the medi pack in Xian is not accessible in the latest patched TR2 with the same method as used in this video. For example, when I made the PC version walkthroughs, the only enhancements around were the widescreen patches, so you'd have PC versions with missing effects (TR2/TR3). Lastly, it doesn't apply to Tomb Raider, but during this era the PC and PS1 versions can be almost entirely different games, so it's cool to cover different platforms.

@@DfactorLongplays so do you recommend this one over the PC? Personally I don't think the PC needs any enhancements as it's good enough already. It's high resolution and smooth

@@DfactorLongplays what is the patch you're talking about which stops you accessing a medipack? I am just using the normal PC version with the wide-screen patch only

@@filevans Oh no. What I described to you was my reasoning to pick this version for video production. At least, that's what I thought you were curious about. If you want to just enjoy the game, then the original PC version works as well.

@@filevans As for the medi pack, that was about one particular jump (6:08:03). The deal with it is that this bug was patched in later versions, so if you're using Steam or GoG versions then this jump won't work there. If you want to play the original game in its best form then using TR2Main patch would be the best course of action. Vanilla PC version lacks more advanced lighting, shadows, health bar and even inventory waving flag of the PS1 version. Using TR2Main will restore those missing features.

AC2 got dramatic gameplay, visuals, and soundtrack improvements. I suppose when people think about PS1 AC, they'd be thinking about either AC2 or AC3.

Yeah, by winning you lose access to all the remaining secrets.

It might have a stronger presentation, but the driving physics themselves take a massive hit, though. So I guess it's about what is more important to you. I view them as practically two separate games.

@@DfactorLongplays You said something right, I agree with your view, its are two separate games. Different studios developed the same title.

If you're on Windows7/10/11, I would suggest installing TOMB4 fan decompile/patch that will fix all compatibility issues and add native support like modern gamepads.
