I am a retired central government employ .I worked as the presiding officer many times. I observed many times that some ladies exercised votes more than ten times with different identity cards. I could not check their faces as the mim agents objected to me .police officer was silent. I know that the rigging can not be controlled in owaisi ilaka without implementing some strict rules. Better to remove the right of vote for those who are not showing their face.

In Hyderabad old city, no identity check in the election halls. They feel it's a birth right which is against the representative of people act.

Firstly asked the polling officials, the police etc and when they refused to match the identification, she as a fierce and strong lady who is fighting the elections is a fair way humbly requested and wanted to ascertain the identity and did not force them but they readily accepted to lift their veils. Abinitio as a candidate she may not be right in doing it, but after she prompted the polling officials/lady police officer and when they refused with flimsy reasons , she did what is right of a brave person. Hats off Madhavi Latha. Everyone knows how Asad has been winning all these decades and now after disqualification of around 4 lakh votes, still if he is able to manage foul means, we have to be proud of Lady Singham.. In Gosha Mahal we have Tiger Raja Singh and in Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency we now have this Lady Singham. Is there a policy to verify the person who votes with a valid ID, it seems even Arnab could not answer. If you are not verified before voting then why we have a photo ID in place. As soon as Madhavilata learnt they they are not verifying the voters with a photo ID then she should’ve filed a complaint with EC and called off the election and demand re election with a genuine verification of voters as implemented in the state of UP.

This incident reminds me of an incident that happened during the discharge of my duty as a branch official in a nationalised bank long ago. As a passing official of a 'selfdrawn ' cheque for cash payment submitted across the counter by a amuslim woman wearing a burka, I had a strong feeling that the presenter of the cheque was a third party in the guise of the original account holder. To safeguard the interest of the account holder and also to discharge my duty diligently and honestly, I was to verify the face of the presenter of the cheque in comparison with the photo of the
Accountholder held by the bank. On getting verified the photo with the presenter it was conclusively established that there was an attempt for forgery which was averted. Verification of the credentials of a woman in burka is indeed a challenge in India.
