Attack a deep sea leech and bring near a Clionid, the Clionid will eat the leech and you get all of the exp. Keep on running in a path and get as much as you can and start over.

above level 10, using sleep on the leeches before kiting the clionids helps a lot before you can start tanking hits

So the clionids don't attack you?

They will attack you if you get too close. But it's easy to kite them and run from them, especially when they focus sea leeches when they see one. You can turn on Mighty Guard to feel safer and remember to change chocobo companion stance coz he will taunt on himself with tank moves.
