Why do Swedes always have such a superior knowledge of English than Finns, Most of the time you can't understand a thing a Finnish NHL'r says and Landy sounds like he was born in the US.

Why? Because English and Swedish are both germanic languages, finnish is something very different(like many other languages in the world), and Finns tend to be more inward focused(like many other nations) while Sweden is very international and open. Another reason is because Landeskog has been in America since 2009, Rantanen since 2015. Anyway listen to Patrik Laine's or Saku Koivu's english before you generalize.
