Wow I thought I was the only one spamming that Serpent's Snare move. I was literally tossing enemies off ledges all yesterday before I even saw this video 😂. It helped me beat those pesky byfrost enemies

I have the Chaos Blades' charge up on "Hold" because i really don't want to damage my triangle button. Changed that in the settings after reading "mash ∆" and helped me despite slightly more time to wait
grear video, very helpful indeed.
So if you also use Lunda armor which poisons enemies, when you attack bare handed.
It's an easy way to add a 2nd element into the status effects damage method

There actually is a charged blades throw with r2 but not r1. It’s not a stated ability but an with r2 tap on a throw you will now cause two explosions instead of one with flame whiplash charged up. Not very useful but it’s there.

Kinda really wish there were more new abilities and moves. Everything is still great, but I played GoW through so many times since 2018 that it feels pretty similar. Even with awaken frost. But it’s still GoW, I’m all in 🤷🏼♂️
True but the enemies are very different so it still takes time to master
I think they did a good job of adding new moves, tweaking old ones (like charged R2 now throwing enemies), and keeping what worked. There are some moves from GoW 2018 that I would've been disappointed had they not been included here, and I'm glad the combat is similar enough that I can feel competent in combat while trying to learn my new skills/combos

Thanks for the info homie, but let me ask, is it just me or does the game and combat system feel way slower than part one? I am only 6 hours into the story but it's getting boring fast bc the combat feels very basic to say the least.

No skill like last game. You can just do it in this game

It can't be just me that that keeps forgetting Frost Awakening exist I have every skill tree maxed but I keep forgetting about Frost Awakening and the one for the blades of Chaos
Frankly I’m like 85% through the game and I don’t even know frost awakening exists. Maybe I use it but just don’t know the name. There’s too many combat moves it’s a bit overwhelming, very easy to not know how to perform them

Am I the only one that never uses her arrows except for puzzles or Wisps? I just don't get it; an explosion, sure - but it doesn't seem to trigger every time reliably
Whats the difference between elemental and momentum?
Elemental builds up the status effect on enemies. Frost status slows enemies down, and burn obviously causes damage over time.
The momentum builds up the element on your weapon by doing damage, and you can press L1+ 🔺️ to activate the element on your weapon, and all of your attacks will now do that elemental damage.
Later on in the game, momentum becomes SUPER strong with the right weapon set ups.

Not really. The bareknuckle moves were alot more vast in 2018.
