What a cool answer re running a loop or a track and interacting with those both faster and slower. Love it!

applesoranges who cares? No where did he say running was the same as cycling. He enjoys it and I’m pretty sure that is all that matters.

In regards to diet, he didn't really talk about whether he knows that his diet is working. He may think that by eating fat that his body is getting fat adapted, but what science did he use to prove that is actually working? And in the race, he ran on sugar as fuel.
Maybe his high fat diet simply made him have a high body fat percentage, and he wasn't running on fat but still on sugar?
Sometimes people do things thinking they are getting certain results when that just isn't so.
And he would only get super powers if he also grew his beard long...

Don't be a douch. Zach has gone on record many times to tell how his "traditional" diet used to leave him depleted and unable to support his running, and how he evolved to his high fat diet.

In the book ‘Primal Endurance’ Zack explains the science and how he knows. Long story short lab gas exchange measures carb/fat ratio fuel usage at different paces, as you become more fat adapted you can run further/faster using fat more so than carbs....

This man also has the world record for 100 miles. Not that it explains all that much, just that who else are you going to trust... they’re going to be slower most likely. I’ll have what he’s having.
