Whoaaa he's HUGE! This came out super good, I'm particularly impressed with the skin and 5 o'clock shadow stuff, it's so wild how it's so simple but turns out so real and believable.

Thanks! Yeah, I really LOVE how much an inexpensive figure can be turned into something like this with some time and elbow grease, and there really are a lot of great sculpts out there that just need a little push.
Wow!! Loved every second of this video. Ibrahim you did absolutely fantastic job on this figure. I was surprised on some of the early paint work but then you explaining why your doing certain paints made it all clear. You say you dont need so much skill, but you have to know your paints and the effects it has. That's skill and knowledge!!!

Haha no it's a great figure for sure, but the proportions are way off from being a more screen accurate Batfleck because of the way McFarlane makes their figures. But I'm really happy that it exists because there should absolutely be a good Batfleck figure available everywhere for a good price, and not just expensive collector figures.

Black shoe polish works great too lol
I always prefer non-toxic, water soluble acrylic paint because I don't like the smell of shoe polish and all of the chemicals and staining ability, but it does work for this!
@@Ibrahim_MI apologize. There’s a CZcamsr called cosplay Chris that did a couple of these a few years ago. He always uses shoe polish. I prefer acrylics and oils. Bad attempt at humor on my part. The type of thing that would cause my 9 year old daughter to roll her eyes lol. This was some beautiful work!!!
Oh, haha! No apologies necessary! Yeah, his video all those years back is what put these Jakks figures on my radar (I made sure to reference it in the opening of the video and shout him out for the inspiration), but I'd never come across one until I saw that my neighbor had one, and I was like "I gotta paint that" lol.

I have that!! I also have the superman one and I was really bummed that they chose not to do wonderwoman in the same scale even though they had her in the 18 inch versions.
Ben Affleck will go down in cinema history as the ONLY actor that has played both Superman and Batman in the movies. Such a shame he wasn't able to do the batman movie as he envisioned it.
Totally agreed! Also, your comment really helped me to figure something out; I was looking for a JL Superman in this size, and what you said led me to discover that the JL figures were only made in the 19" versions, so I was searching for something that didn't exist, lol. Thank you!
@@Ibrahim_M Yeah, it was so weird that they only chose to do superman and batman in the 31 inch size but those two were from the BVS movie. The 18 inch is from the JL movie. The headsculpt of the 31 inch version is superior than the JL version. Somebody did an awesome custom paint of wonderwoman, waay back. I'll try to post the link if I ever find it.

I particularly wanted the hairstyle on Superman from the JL version, so I was bummed to realize they never did that one in the 31" scale. I've thought about doing the 18" one, but it's not much bigger than an Hot Toy, which I've got, so it feels redundant. I may still try to tackle the big Superman. I have absolutely nowhere to put it but it would be fun to paint, haha.
