Yep that’s a really cool old school it was built in 1884.
This movie came out two years after I graduated high school. It sure reminded me of an incident the first year. My school was not quite like this movie, nevertheless there were bullies. I had one who made fun of me, making jokes that I don't really came across with before. There was never anything physical bullying, more like verbal. The bully constantly making fun of me when eventually a bigger taller guy had to intervene. I learned not to succumbed to the jokes and fought back. You know what, the bully eventually became my friend. He still make jokes but not about me, became more general comedian. By senior year graduation the bully did not graduated and was held back, apparently had learning issues. I felt bad and advice him to try his best and he will make it next year.
Throwing the wet and wadded up toilet paper as they shake him down was a nice touch, very authentic!

Within the first year of my weight training class, I exploded with strength in every direction. Once the school "mouths" saw I was far stronger in every way, all of it stopped. MANY years later, I still run into the occassional gym personalities that size me up, until they see what I can do that they can't then they vanish.
I stated small until I was 16 had to fight all the way until 12th grade . Got good at it.

I had a crush on Matt Dillion back when this movie came out...I was bullied as a kid also...it wasn't near as bad as this movie. I never told the guys who bullied me that i had a crush on them as well. Looking back i wish i wasn't so overly defensive (staying away from them).
