You people sure know your audience. We all wanted the whole interview.
The story Stephen didn’t want Howard to tell was talked about on Stern’s show a couple days ago. Howard offered to give the first interview to Stephen before Jimmy because Stephen has better ratings. But Stephen knew that Howard and Jimmy were really close friends and Stephen told Howard to do Jimmy’s show first because he knew Jimmy needed the ratings and because of how close they were. That says so much about Stephen and how friends and relationships come before ratings. That says so much about Stephen’s character.
i have a whole new sense of appreciation for Stern after this interview. His vulnerability and honesty is so refreshing.
This is a master class on good conversation in an interview. I do interviews for my job every day, and I aspire to have an interview as candid and enlightening as this one
Jesus. As a Howard and Stephen fan, that was a journey. Brilliant.
Wow. This is one Stephen's best guest interviews. It's also graceful to see how Howard has changed with time.
Something like this great talk makes me realize just how hungry I am for hearing inteli, thoughtful conversation. We get so little of it on your average American talk show.
No one can match Howard's legendary interviewing skills and talents, but Stephen is right there with him. This was a fantastic extended interview
I
fastest half hour ever.
Perhaps the best interview segment Stephen has ever had. Much respect to Howard for his candidness.
Howard is a great interviewer because he asks tough questions that most talk show hosts are afraid to ask. He’s not intimidated by his guests.
If you guys were wondering what the story Stephen didn't want Howard to tell, it was about his appearance on The Tonight Show with Fallon.
Howard Stern is not only a great interviewer but also a great interviewee
Howard as Head of the FCC would be the most beautiful of ironies ever.
One of the best late night interviews of all time.
so glad he gave Bernie a shoutout for sticking up for his 1st amendment rights in the 90's
I was stationed in NJ and Brooklyn in my youth, and i used to listen to him all the time. I'm so glad he has matured so much... great times!
Thanks! I'm so tired of 1 min clips, good for you guys!
"He's so shallow you couldn't get your ankles wet" XD lmfao
