- Amazing on the spot piece, Dedicated to Vini's tutor that was a Jewish war survivor, An unknown person sent him a copy of the comic MAUS which reminded him of her and what she'd gone through.
Never seen such a depressing and emotional performance like that.. The way he busts out crying in the end is painful to watch, but it was honest and truthful; that's what Vini Reilly always wanted to be about.
Many thanks for the video. I would like to be there, but I live in France. I saw 3 times Durutti Column in my life : in 2003 London, in 2006 Northampton & Bristol where I have a great conversation with Bruce & Vini. Great memories. I hope that Vini will continue to compose beautiful melodies.
It's very sad to see my favorite guitar hero who has provided my life with so much beauty and quality - to be reduced to this present state - his playing drastically 'off' and his physical state not good... I admire his brave attempt(s) to regain his musical chops and form... I can only hope and pray that Vini would simply 'keep playing' and that somehow miraculously his beautiful, one-of-a-kind unique gift would return to him.

it's sad to see him like this, I can tell that he is frustrated not being able to play as well as he once could, hope he is doing well.

I can't watch this. This is too sad. Made it to 1:43. Vini is struggling. Poor guy. Such a genius guitarist but, yeah, he's really struggling and hurting here. :'(

Obviously Vini is hurting but I don't know about it would someone please tell what it is? I know it's been a while. I've been loving Vini's stuff for close to 40 years thanks to college radio in BOSTON, MA.
Vini had 3 strokes in 2010 prolly from his life long chain smoking...and he STILL smokes!
