Actually "Judas" itself is pretty much a metal song, it's like a metal song in a pop music body, like a metal song made only with pop tools, everytime i hear the synths there they resemble so much to guitars riffs, this also happens in many lady gaga songs, but mostly in Born This Way, another clear example is the song "Hair", Lady Gaga herself is a long term metal fan and has been influenced by it and her songwritting style reveals that.
Shes a big Slipknot fan and I feel that had an impact on her use of costumes

When interviewed and asked what they did the recipient said, 'I used them of course. I sing for a living so am constantly training my voice to improve.'

I love two versions
I don't know how rock specifically heavy metal singers do that growl/scream singing thing. I don't know what that technique is but man it sounds hard. I've tried listening to heavy metal but I couldn't manage it. I got overstimulated with fast paced guitars, drums and powerful vocals. 😅
I loved this cover though and wish I found it sooner. I just can't play it at a high volume with earphones but this was great.

I found this band just today, I went down the rabbit hole of lesser known music since I had time sitting at a customer of mine. I'm very pleasantly surprised. I can say I'll be adding Rage of Light to my personal playlist for the road. This version of Judas is better than the original, and I'm quite impressed with the frontwoman's range of vocal capacity throughout the several songs I've listened to. Women in metal fucking rock!
