Watching ppl open pokemon tins feels so nostalgic bc I always used to beg my parents to buy my a tin from walmart and every once in a while they would get me one. a few years back I got a tin that had flashfire and legendary treasures in it and I pulled the blue fire mega charizard EX from flashfire from my last pack of the tin

That 2nd tin was pretty decent! I'd looked at ordering from that seller before but found some reviews about resealed packs which scared me off, but everything looked legit with yours.

That Eevee tin looks cool. Great video! I personally only like to buy anymore at LCS/LGS or big box stores. Might not get as many deals but the one time I bought a tin on Amazon all the packs were resealed. 😂

The pulls were actually solid! I mean yeah the ratio to the price spent wasn’t there but you had a chance in almost all of the tins so yeah. Burning shadows… I’ve tried many many dollars for the charizard and many packs without a hit. The fact you got 1 out of 2 was dope!

Fun video! The pulls weren't great, but good you got legit tins (you never know from Amazon). The Eevee tin, that was available for awhile late last year on the Pokemon Center restock page. We got one and pulled the Lillie full art from Sun & Moon base, which was sweet.

Not sure if someone already answered your question, but you can tell different runs of the set by the short code on the back. Not sure how they look on bigger tins but when I buy mini tins I look for codes like “E22” that have a letter and two numbers.

The mini tins and Pokeballs have those codes on them but regular tins/ lunchbox tins do not. They sometimes change the SKU (barcode number) on regular tins which can be used as an indicator of what's inside but it's not 100%. Recently even the codes you mentioned on mini tins and Pokeballs are not 100%, especially when the tins are a re-release.
