Blue River always has good snow! I plan on spending most trips there this winter instead of Revelstoke like last year. As for the insta360 I enjoy both points of view. The re-entry on the unicorn is a sweet perspective. I am quite jealous at the moment. I still haven't got out to ride yet. I will be in blue first week of January 🤘
Chin mount. Keep the videos rolling. Everyone has videos of riding, however your editing of doing sled mods is excellent. Everyone is always curious what people have for mods, track, suspension, clutching, pipe fuel etc . A few mod videos won’t hurt. Keep up the awesome work.
Thank you! I want to do things a little than always just the straight riding videos, so I'm glad you're enjoying it! I'm learning as I go so I like to be transparent and share my findings.
Hey, thanks for the promo code! I just placed and ordered a new Kahoas 155 Boost! Click the delivery button. 15% off new sled. Now I've got 4 new sleds in the garage ! 👊
Oh man it looks awesome there in blue river now I'm excited. My brother inlaw lives in st.albert im coming from lethbridge we are going to blue river Jan 18th
Chin mount definitely gives a more rider perspective and terrain against the sled but a con would be not being able to get the different angles you could get with top mount
@@Bryce_Cardinal awesome, I picked up a bumper mount with a retractable selfie type stick and gonna try and get some back and Fort angles of the helmet and bumper this year should be exciting as long as I don’t lose a gopro I’ll be happy😂
Lookin like it’s gonna take a few more hours getting used to the different handling characteristics of the Polaris, eh? You ride like I do when I jump from my lynx to my buddy’s Polaris. Totally different!
Not a sled guy, so honest question, I understand shock theory from other motorsports and I am struggling in my brain to compute how shock preload on the track would make that much of a difference when the snow is that soft and deep. Does track suspension move that much in the soft stuff???
@@GotWake4 the front track shock controls all of your weight transfer to the rear and also controls ski pressure! Yes, it is a huge deal on how your suspension is set up.
@@GotWake4 I would say both! Kind of like 70% all the time and a 30% responsive. Sort of hard to really pick one or the other. Best way to describe, it would be to say they work in conjunction with each other.
I like the chin mouth camera position better we get to see more than just the tips of the skis,, interesting, I have not ever ridden in the mountains in that kind of deep snow, but yeah that wet snow is like riding in concrete, wet concrete, well at the end of the day maybe it would be more work on your part but maybe mix it up and do both,
Ok here's the deal, I've always hated videos shot with a insta 360 cam until today, thanks to you i realized it was because of where the camerat was mounted, Dude chin mount is golden, unicorn mount in my opinion isn't worth watching, the quality of the video is just not as good.
I don’t see nobody on the CZcams channels messing with there track shocks I am always trying different stuff I would have been running my front shock as loose as possible and rear shock as tight as possible I would like to see these so called pro riders comment on their shock set up’s
@@Bryce_Cardinal just always remember when it’s that soft and deep you want your rear track shock locked out if you’re running fox QS3 and your FTS almost floppy!
Don’t mention blue River again to the public. Its heaven for the locals (no crowds). 😛 just tell everyone it’s at Revelstoke😁
We’re convoying up there right now for a month!!! Thanks for the intel 😁
Your neighbors must love you for firing up your sled and loading up at 3:30 Am 😂😂
Merry Christmas to them! XD

Did they really give you 15% off on a brand new sled?
You probably got some bad gas….. I definitely recommend running octane booster on those Polaris boosts!

That's awesome, enjoy! Hopefully the snow keeps stacking up for some great conditions for you guys.
@Bryce_Cardinal I hope so to thanks have a merry Christmas
How do you like your new Boost vs lynx shedder?
Chin mount definitely gives a more rider perspective and terrain against the sled but a con would be not being able to get the different angles you could get with top mount
Thank you for the feedback! I think I will have to run a combination of both!

What area of blue is this at?

It’s definitely going to take a few rides to get my Polaris legs back haha
Hey Bryce, try loosening(less preload)up your FTS. Your sled looks like it is trenching super bad!
Might be cause he’s a bigger dude

@@Ride4life311 makes sense, does it work in more of an all the time kind of pressure or in a responsive manner? If that makes sense

What date were you there?
December 21st
Where can I buy your buddy's sweet hood emblem???
He 3D printed that one!

iiiiiijuu
With your height and body mass…. You’re probably gonna regret getting a 155. Hopefully not though…🤞 can’t blame the snow! Should’ve gotten a 165
Fingers 👉

I want to do a video playing around with different shock stiffness combinations and seeing the result.
