The songs were old Korean classics. But some don't have the rap, Moonbyul wrote the raps to suit the songs.
Can you imagine? Their concerts, vocals, songs, concepts, and performances are just phenomenal. I'm sorry, but they're the most amazing female group I have ever known. Their live performances are insane. One of their talents is song medleys. They've bunch of amazing performances. You would like it.

Mamamoo with a live band in a packed house transcend the medium that you watch them on. The video of this portion of the concert really drags you in. This was indeed a mamamoo concert. The concert probably lasted over 4 hours. Don’t give up hope on seeing them live one day. I really hope they are cooking something special in the future.
This concert was insane. Also, this ''Immortal songs'' show is so meaningful to everyone. Actually they've 14 amazing performances /In this video: Backwoods, Love Story Of A Girl, The Way To Sampo, You, In My Fading Memory, Wonderful Confession, Flying into the Night Sky/. My first listened song from them was Backwoods in 2016 /First song of this video/. My first impression was so strong. I just fell in love with them and really love to watch their stages.
The Mamamoo concerts in Korea are on another level. The budget just doesn't allow for it here in the US but there, they use these elaborate stages with a live band, live backup vocalists and many dancers. They didn't even bring the equipment to control the Moobongs. Even so, the one I went to in Dallas was a fabulous concert and worth every penny.
never too late, go to their solo or group concert, you won't regret. I still have hope that they will have group concert before i die ! haha
In this show, they won Trophy 3 times. Still,I feel so proud of them as always. Thanks a lot for this. Enjoy your journey with Mamamoo too. Whatever song or stage choose will be awesome.

This became the first thing I listened to when I woke up for over a month. I must have listened to it 75 times that first month, and I watch every reaction video, and I *still* get chills from Way to Sampo. This is one of the best things anyone has ever done musically, EVER.
(Different genre entirely, but if you want something comparable in quality, check out the 2011 version of the 10K Japanese perform Beethoven's 9th Symphony, 4th movement - the Ode to Joy. It was done in honor of the 10K Japanese killed in the tsunami earlier that year, so they put their heart and soul into that performance, and it shows.)

The video upload date doesn't reflect the date of the performance. This performance is from one of their Moosical Curtain Call concerts in 2017. In 2016 they held their first series of annual concerts, which were called Moosical. I explained the Immortal Songs tv show in a comment under your last MMM video but in case you missed it, yes, the medley consists of covers of classic Korean songs. Mamamoo's 14 appearances on Immortal Songs are spectacular must-see vocal showcases but if you're going to react to them you'll probably have to filter the videos cuz the tv network usually blocks reactions to Immortal Songs.
Btw, I'd take the comments about the Immortal Songs Medley being from a 4 hour long concert with a grain of salt. My recollection is that the Moosical and Moosical Curtain Call concerts ran more like 2 1/2 to 3 hrs. Mamamoo's concerts increased in length every year up through their last pre-pandemic concerts in 2019 called 4 Seasons F/W, which were indeed over 4 hours long. Their post-pandemic My Con concerts in 2022/'23 weren't nearly as long. The My Con concerts in the US ran exactly 2 hrs 15 minutes, tho the Asian version of those concerts included more material and were longer, esp the "Encore" concerts in Seoul that wrapped up the tour.
I have the Mamamoo 2017 Moosical Curtain Call dvd and the concert is only 110 minutes. The second dvd is 125 minutes long and just contains the members multi angle videos and concert making film.

All of the songs are covers, this is a medley of the songs they sung in the immortal songs contests of which they won many of them. Though Moonbyul had to write in all the rap lyrics because the originals did not have rap. They won a lot of these contests, mainly because any song they sing they turn into a mamamoo song basically and anytime they appear even if just 1 song on a tv show they basically turn it into a mamamoo concert. I saw them live in LA last year, they are as phenomenal live as this video demonstrates
