The red felt table is called a bumper pool table. It became popular in the 50's so people could play at the pub where space didn't allow a huge pool table then became a home game really popular in the 70's and 80's when rec rooms became a thing in homes. Historically, it's an offshoot of croquet, a table version. Now ya know. lol

She had brain cancer and was not thinking straight. In this instance, it's better to not take steps...too upsetting and "final" for her taste at that age and illness. Situations like this will tie everyone's hands.

I swear I got like 4 urban exploring channels with videos of this house on my CZcams feed right now. Literally all at once, back to back. Both subscribed and unsubscribed channels. It's wicked. This was the first one that associated Betty Whites name to this house. According to the people that live in the area and actually knew the owners, a guy named Rocko lived there, he sold the house around 4 or 5 years ago and a fire broke out on the second floor kitchen back in 2018 (no one was living there at the time) but there was a buyer. Since then the mansion has been deemed as unlivable and I think it's safe to say that it'll stay there until demolished.

Great video....if this was Betty White's House, it's interesting that California has no snow. She made one of her last TV Interviews in 2017 and talked about the two houses she and her Husband owned, only two. One is in Carmel and the other was in West Los Angeles, CA. She and her Husband, Allen built the Carmel House together in the 70's. He passed away in 1981 and she never remarried. He only spent two nights in the house before he was hospitalized for stomach cancer. She had friends and Caregivers but stayed unmarried for 41 years.
As nice as this house is, there isn't anything about her having to move from her home because of a fire. I like your videos but hope you all are able to get more accurate info before sharing things about a Person's Home Retreat, that are not true. Thank you for the time you all put into this and I do hope you will get to see how people lived before your time. That will happen to you one day, because you can't take anything from this Earth with you when it's your turn to go. I'm sure you would like people to have as close as possible of a true account about your life when they see what you left behind. I hope most importantly that your Hearts are in the right place so you will not be LEFT BEHIND when JESUS comes to take Home all people who believe in HIM. It's so easy to trust and believe. Believe that JESUS died on The CROSS of CALVARY to forgive you of your Sin.
HE did not stay dead. HE ROSE on the 3rd day and because HE ROSE, we will
RISE with HIM when HE COMES for US IN THE RAPTURE? The Bible tells us that
HE will come for US as a thief in the night, unannounced. HE is only taking Home all Believers who have asked HIM for Forgiveness!

On my edition, it just began with them entering the house. Then they showed where the fire had been and Betty White was mentioned many more times while they were in that house so of course I thought they were saying she lived in that house at the time she passed. I only shared my Faith and my hope is that everyone becomes a Believer or is already a Believer. You may have your opinion about a tangent but IF you are Left Behind, I would imagine you thinking about wishing that a lot of people would have shared more about their Faith with you.
One thing I did not talk about is what Church or denomination anyone might belong to. Those are truly important in Life but do not give you entrance into Heaven. The only WAY, is to believe what JESUS SAID....
"I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE; NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME." JOHN 14:6 That tangent can be found throughout The New Testament. GOD gave those Words for men to write so they would be taught and shared and bring people's hearts to a place of Forgiveness and The PROMISE OF ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN with GOD. JESUS, THE HOLY SPIRIT and ALL of your Loved Ones who have gone there ahead of you. Please accept these words in the Spirit of love, the way they are meant. Q

I love watching young people go through abandoned places. The front door looks to be Mahogany and probably hand carved. The "dead animals" are old mink collars, more than likely real, and would've been valuable had they been in mint condition. The styrofoam heads you found are to place wigs or hats on. I think the room with the expensive padded wallpaper was the girls bedroom and the small room off that a changing room I assume, and her closet was probably off to the left. The red covered Octogon table is to play bumper pool, the game room had a wet bar; not a full kitchen. Even though the house caught fire, I'm surprised that the owners didn't salvage the gold colored hutches, family photos and some of the other vintage collectibles- like the arcade games you were drooling over (lol). It would be interesting to find out some history on the place. This is what the value of money means to rich people- they have so much of it they just let it burn up.
