This video is an overview of all of the art exhibits I saw in 2022. I was really blessed last year to be able to travel to some new cities like Berlin and Toronto as well as see the Venice Biennale. Thank you again for all of your support and I look forward to sharing more with you this year.
Also let me know if you have any favorites out of the exhibits shared!
And please note a few things….
- The dates are when I personally visited the exhibit, not necessarily when the exhibit opened
- As with most things, the longer you do it, the more you improve, so my camera work from earlier in the year may be a little tough to watch at various points (I know it is for me)

Muitos criticam o conteúdo estético apresentado por muitos artistas atuais mas se esquecem de que são simples reflexos dos valores atuais contemporâneos sob os quais estamos todos imersos quer queiramos ou não. Enfoquemos naquilo que hoje nos sensibiliza de maneira positiva, pois mesmo através dos séculos da história da arte não serão diante de todos os períodos , autores e obras que nos identificaremos com seus valores . O tempo determinará o que há de mais expressivo e significativo de cada época e as linguagens que perdurarão com seus conteúdos e conotações.

Beauty is no longer a goal, or even a standard, in painting now. And it shows...with so much meaningless art supported by clueless money. Thanks for this reveal of how pervasive that loss to painting that is.
Thank you…well said. I watched this and cringed. I wonder what Michelangelo or da Vinci would say? Seriously! I remember reading an article in Art News about 40 years ago, and the gallery owners (like Saatchi) said that they didn’t consider showing any artist’s work unless they had shown ability to progress from a traditional education and ability. I’ll never get it 😢. Guess beauty truly is “ in the eye of the holder”!

No. Beauty is a response all humans are capable of. When the majority of humans with a similarity of exposure respond the same way it is likely that it is testimony to something larger than the individual's eye. @@edyerose9969
Art was never about beauty. Art is a language without words. It's ugly like how real life is..
You don't understand beauty, do you? Removing beauty as a goal is why so much art has become simple-minded trash, losing audiences world-wide.
2022 was the year of bad art I see..........
A smattering of talent here, a tiny dash of skill there, and the odd glimpse of an (as yet unfocussed and poorly-developed) idea, but generally the exhibitions are of meaningless junk. Banal stuff!

What a disappointing start. So many gimmicks, so much nihilist whimsy devoid of intellectual inspiration. What was truly worthwhile was delightful but there was so little of it.
And what can I say about work so large that it has to be displayed in an airplane hanger or a pile of 1000 nonsensical elements? That's not art, it's vanity. What purpose does it serve? To be truly meaningful art must coexist with human beings, not populate vacant caverns.

When can we finally see real art again? I am so bored and annoyed by this banal, superficial and decorative art. It's time to show real, interesting art again, where you don't need supervised interpretations to see some nonsense.
I would like to see original works by Helnwein, Odd Nerdrum, Anton Hoeger and some contemporary Spanish painters.
These galleries should be full of visitors. The more art the Better. Not only a message of peace UBUt art and culture in any way. A gallery empty It is Always a Little sad and not Fair.
