I love your decor. I think you need to cut back on how many items you have. There are too many to maintain organized & clutter free. Cut back and I think you’ll find it easier to maintain neat and orderly. Just a suggestion. 😊

FOMO!!?? OMG! I could never put my finger on what emotion it was I felt when shopping DT, ..as you know their products change ALL THE TIME. And I used to beat myself up when I came home with way more than what I set out to buy, thought I was just being….idk! But FOMO! That’s EXACTLY what it is I’m feeling when I shop there! Thank you girl, for sorting out my tortured brain lol! And honey? You got some really big FOMO ..ha 💕 We love you here in the SW…and girrrrl, your overhaul to all your hauls turned out SUPER!💕😊

I can tell you from experience that investing in some really nice plastic organization (drawers, containers all the same size- and EVERYTHING clear) really really helps. When you can see it all, and it’s visually pretty and looks unified, it helps your brain with keeping it that way, and you feeling like your space is more organized. I’ve also heard organization experts talk about putting all the “visually heavy” items on the bottom and lighter things on the top. Did this with my linen closet and it works! It took me forever to find the correct size bins to fit in my closet. I purged first, then cleaned, then refilled everything. Measured for correct size (yes I took my measurement and tape to the store) -and made sure to get all the same type of bin, in the same color, and LABEL everything. This way even my fourth grader knows where things are supposed to get put away.
Hey toots!!! Yes your absolutely right about the visual - and hubby just asked me to put labels on 😝 so I'll do that soon - I've been feeling so much better about the decluttering and organization - it's exactly what my mind needed
@@itsTishTime it’s encouraging also when you consider how much better you will feel going into the new school year and holidays and being able to find stuff. I always want to put it off with clearing out, but I feel so much better afterwards. 👍

Amazing if you want to add more organizers you can buy lids or covers on the top of them and double the grey organizers for more storage

Now I feel like a slug! I've been procrastinating about just cleaning out from under the bathroom sink! When I recently cleaned out from under the kitchen sink, there were 14 bottles of hand soap! Plus I laughed when I saw that I have so many of the same things from the DT!😂
