2:45 f/8 being one stop below the high end, sure it is the safest aperture setting for this context. If you have a lens with its highest aperture of f/22, you can probably use f/16 or f/11 with little diffraction or distortion.

it should work just fine, It just kind of feels like a missed opportunity with how colorful fireworks are no?
should i use Nolan 5219 to shoot firework photos ?
