Beautiful spreads! You should definitely read Howl's Moving Castle because it is a really fun and funny book. I'm glad you like the Becky Chambers novella- I have that book but I have not read it yet, now I'm more excited to read it!
If you liked Priory you should absolutely pick up A Day of Fallen Night!! It improved on everything I loved about Priory and it takes place 500 years in the past, during the time that Glorian Shieldheart lived, who is mentioned a few times in Priory! It's such a beautiful story and Shannon really has such a talent for world building it was such a joy to explore more!

Another novella I'd recommend is All Systems Red by Martha Wells!! There are 6 books in the series and one of them is full-length. The audiobooks are also great, the narrator is excellent. It follows a sentient security bot as they help save people and figure out why people are good to save 🖤

I've been chomping at the bit to read more of her works and can't wait to pick them up. 🖤🖤 My absolute favourite book of the year so far is Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. It's strange and vivid and I can't stop thinking about it.

I also stand by my recommendation. 😂 But omg how cute is Mosscap?! I actually liked the second book better, and I hope she writes more in the series because they’re just so comforting. 🖤
I actually listened to the Priory audiobook last year and dnfed it pretty soon. I rarely stop reading or listening to a book and I always feel guilty about it. Thanks to your video I now know that it was the narrator I felt annoyed with, not the book itself. Sometimes it is diffficult to separate it. I think I might give the book another chance this year. 🖤
