Europe is tired of songs that are very clear inspirations from the Billboard chart tops - Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga etc. People crave originality. That's why Lithuania's entry feels refreshing whereas entries from Norway and France and such sound boring because it's that same old Calvin Harris EDM sound we've been hearing for the last 12 years.
I hope Lithuania sends The Roop and they win this year.

I can hear the similarty with Blurred line but it is not a copy. Last year The Roop used a guitarsound from another band, I think it is a copy or a sample. The guitar riff at the beginning of "ALONE IN MADNESS" from 2007 is the same as in "ON FIRE". I liked On Fire, but lost some respect when i hear the other song and the similarity in the guitar riff. Their new song is just too repetitive for my taste and after Netta I am a bit tired of funny dance moves.
