This is a great addition from Roadtrek! Loving the lithium and pop top. They always built such quality units. My Uncle had one for decades, he was a ramblin' man and it never let him down. Scott, thanks for the great videos out of Tampa. Next best thing to being there.

Having that particular pop up top in a high roof Promaster chassis would be great to have for that occasional person traveling with...It makes much more sense to me than a low roof van configuration...I Like it...Winnebago needs to take note of this one...

Thank you for this tour!! There certainly is a lot to like about this rig. It is also good that Roadtrek is going to offer more lithium because 400 AH EcoTrek is the same offering they had in 2017 but a better inverter. 😉 it does look pretty low to the ground though and no lagun tables.

The tellaro also has 2 lithium options 200AH or 800AH plus the pop-top has the same skylight.

This one and the Agile 4x4 are my top Roadtrek. Quality has remained it would seem. I don’t don’t what’s inside vs outside but I like the pop top for additional sleeping and the view. It gives you flexibility. I like the 800 option but Nick mentioned 400 and 600 on the slumber. Agile used to offer 800. Still think Nick would be great to buy from too. Good job Scott!

Not that I have seen. Smart cat or dog can likely sneak out pushing screen to release magnets.
Everyone’s getting in on poptops all of a sudden. A couple of months ago, Jerry and I even drove down to a place that sells the Winnebago Solis models and tried them out to see if we liked having a second upstairs bedroom. We concluded that we’re just plain too old. They’re for kids scrambling up and down the ladder, we decided. The older you get the more middle-of-the-night bathroom calls you need to make. So I sadly gave up my dream of returning to the era of VW campers. Alas… But it’s a great option for a lot of people and it really gives you room to spread out.

He is wrong about Thor not having lithium in their class B’s. They do and now two of the Class B models only come in lithium (200 AMP hour package or you can upgrade to 800 amp hour) and if you want you can add a pop top.

Thank you, Scott and Nick! Proprietary lithium batteries but still has propane on-board? If you opt for the induction cooktop, is propane still needed/being used elsewhere? Where is the lithium sitting? Even with lithium, a pop-top, MIA Transits, and MB chassis problems, that price for a FWD-only ProMaster is silly to me.

How many hours would the a/c run on fully charged batteries?
My guess is 5-6 hours but many variables. With my 8,600 watt Volta lithium battery the A/C operates for 10-12 hours with variables

Incorrect. Thor Tellaro 20AT has poptop with skylight since 2020. I know because we bought one in 2021. I called Nick (nice guy) last year about the Slumber fairly new back in 2021 and he quoted me $150K with lithium. We decided and got the Tellaro 20AT w/lithium from RecVan instead for much lower/better price and available 2 weeks and only miles from our home. Roadtrek quality is a bit better but for $30K difference Thor's quality isn't that bad. Also, Thor' has 800ah lithium, 3000w inverter can run AC for 10hrs, microwave, TV, hairdryer,PS5 etc.. we never ran out of power. Also has autostart alternator with low idle engine charging.. I think best priced/spec'd Class B RV that can sit and sleep 4 comfortably. Don't know the pricing now, I assume add $15K-$20K on all models.. We cross shopped Winnebago Solis, Roadtrek Slumber, Coachmen Beyond.
