    I mean, this one is neat, but I feel like I’ve seen it before. Seems as though all the big American RV makers just buy from one singular OEM and make modifications so they’re only ~10% unique from their competitors. There’s so much more innovation happening in Europe to make class Bs space efficient, leverage technology and even sleep 4 (inside, not just throwing a pop-up on the roof). Gonna hold tight to my Travato 59GL.
    edit: fixed typo

      So true! I saw one European model that had bunk beds in the back where the Murphy bed is. Wish we had more choices in the US.

      @@mia-pham not trying to take away what Scott is doing, cuz I love your content, but another CZcams channel I follow that focuses on small European campers is called “miniCampers.” I wish the US OEM would borrow some ideas from across the Atlantic!

    Nice. Wish propane was history for many reasons. The pop top would be great for storage while exploring a new place, keeping everything tidy below without having to put things back while in camp.

    Really nice, I saw this one at the Tampa show and wanted it. Just wish it had a bigger refrigerator and a lower price. The pop top would be great to sleep in when the weather is nice. Also would make great storage once you park and set up, throw stuff up there just to get things out of your way. Class B manufacturer's need to be realistic and start pricing class B's so everyday people can afford them.

    Hi Scott, I'm not a fan of pop tops. For an older person hard to climb those ladders. However, the Wingam dosen't look as bad. Please review that micro B please!

    @ericmyers1306 Před 2 lety

    Good stuff, man. Love where the Tellaro is heading. The pop top is a huge advancement forward. This enables a short wheelbase 4wd B chassis more space dedicated for rear garage storage and a dry bath/shower. I think someone is going to build this on an AWD Transit chassis for $100k and make an absolute killing. For the active weekend warrior (like me) solar doesn't make sense. Give me two alternators, instead, please.

    I absolutely love your videos!..... I am so enthused by your enthusiasm about Van life... You're knowledge and your Information is so helpful.... I'm looking to buy a B Van but one that I can drive around as my vehicle and I keep vacillating between 18' and 21' and wondering which would work better ..... I want one where I can carry more than just 2 passengers and I would like 1 where if I took my granddaughter's I could accommodate them for sleeping...... I love the Travato G that you have but the ability to sleep more than just myself is definitely limited..... I've considered Thor rise with a pop top because it does have the seating that I like up front and it has the pop top..... When I see this Tellaro it is pushing me toward wone a 21' but Im wondering if I can actually handle that on a day-to-day basis for just going around town..... So that's all part of my search but it's wonderful to hear all the stories you have, and the guests, and hints so thank you very very much Scott...

    I like my 20A. I can ship long pieces of lumber in it (through the back door, obviously). I can also move furniture in the back "cargo area". If I need more storage space (out of site, out of mind) I make up the King Size Bed and store items underneath, in plastic totes. The previous B+ (thor Gemini) I had was great...but...It was a foot higher on the outside and the additional inches on either side made it somewhat difficult to pass through tiny lanes. And, needless to day, my B+ did not have a rear door so I couldn't move long pieces of lumber or furniture.

    It's a lower quality version of the (no longer available) Hymer Aktiv. I'd go with a Travato GL instead of a Tellaro. The Aktiv and Travato are the closest the US has come to what Europe has in the way of class B RVs.

    • @higherho1540

    • @Photo-Voyager
      @Photo-Voyager Před 2 lety +1

      @@higherho1540 Prices must be way up because a couple of years ago you could buy a Travato with lithium for the same price. The cassette toilet is nice and not available on the Travato. Be aware that those sliding windows can't be left open when it's raining. Used Hymers can be found for under $100K.

    • @higherho1540
      @higherho1540 Před 2 lety +1

      @@Photo-Voyager True, 2019 and anything before the pandemic = prices were great. Lithium travato’s MSRP is 172k (they drop it to roughly 130 to 140 depending on the dealer). I think they are just gouging customers at the moment (especially when you look at the cost of the vans they get and the supplies they put into it). I would get the Travato with Volta above the Tellaro (only thing I need is a pop top but I can live without it). I appreciate the advice on the windows as well!
