- This is a joke of a video, I doubt anyone learned anything from this lmao I took this a few months back and just last minute uploaded it; maybe I'll get around to making a more in-depth, less shitty video in the future.
Head Unit: Sony XAV-AX100 (Ebay; Used + Some Wiring; $200)
Reverse Camera: NATIKA Backup/Front View Camera (Amazon; $40)
Subwoofer: Rockville RW10CA 10" (Amazon; Included Wiring Kit; $120)
Cargo Divider: Nissan Versa Divide-n-Hide (Ebay; Used; $73)
Head Unit Bracket: Metra 95-7621 Installation Dash Kit (Amazon; $11)
Steering Wheel Controls Programmer: iDatalink Maestro SW (Don't Remember)
Wiring Harness: Metra 70-7552 (Nissan) (Came with head unit; ~$12)
Bluetooth Override Module: Metra AX-NIS32BT (Don't Remember)
Antenna Adapter / Amplifier: Metra 40-NI12 (Came with head unit; ~$7)
That should be everything you need if I remember correctly. This was my first time installing something like this so It took a long time to figure out how to do it. If you dislike the video because I ramble without actually showing anything worthwhile, I don't blame you.
Here's a link to a forum page with the majority of modifications n shit I've done to my car thus far. Should also include instruction diagrams for installing the steering wheel controls module.

This video was helpful bud preciate it. You're the only person that actually explained what the hell I needed to do with the blue wire on the antenna adapter. Thank you.
“This will get like 12 views in the next 3 years” ……
Year 2: 3k plus
😂😂😂
Honestly a great video bro
This video was actually the most helpful thing lol, I couldn't find anyone else with the same amplifier cable problem. Thank you!
Genuinely appreciate that this video even exists. Never thought to go in from the top of the useless holder haha. Thanks!
Hi i like you car looks good . You video help me alot . The question is what's the size of the radio 7 imch or 6.2 inch ?
It's the Sony XAV-AX100 -- I'm using a new head unit now so I don't remember, but Google says it's 7.01 x 3.94 x 6.36 in.
@@GoodKid ok thanks
Good information. Would have been better if you had planned what to say, but no complaints here. It was helpful and you touched on problems I'm sure people will have if they don't know.
LOL thanks!
Lmao hope you learned something from this
Where did you get the diagram from to hardwire
An excellent resource to use is crutchfield.com -- they'll let you know everything you need for your specific car and desired head unit; from wiring harnesses to brackets to bluetooth modules, etc etc etc.
The head unit should come with a wiring diagram, and if memory serves me correctly the colors generally line up with the wiring harnesses.
How did you ground this ?
Was it to that bar behind the stereo
@@lucyw355 Yep! If you look at the top of the video at 2:36, that long piece of ground wire was tapped into the metal tube / backplate behind the stereo (red tape by the screw). Just used a 6 - 12in piece of extra ground wire I had and attached it there, then all the required grounds I needed were just connected directly to that wire.
Is it a double or single din?
Double din
@@GoodKid i just got a single din for my 2019 nissan versa cause it says in the website it should work. Should i return and get a double din instead?
@@diahbars Personally I'd recommend a double din -- technically you could put single din head units in there, but I'd say go ahead and go double din.
If you're still not sure, I highly recommend checking out Crutchfield -- they will let you select your car, the head unit you want, and provide all the information and items you'll need for it to properly work.

Bro I i wish I had a stick shift
I've had this car for 7 years now, and this stick shift model was the cheapest one on the lot (didn't even have power locks or windows) -- but man, I realize how lucky I am now lol the stick is fun and ironically much more reliable than the CVT. Sure is hard to find now.
