Thanks so much for the comparison between the two Leonardos, I was not aware that they were so different! I am hoping to try one out at the SF Pen show, I am really intrigued by the section on the Grande as I do find smaller sections harder to write with.
Absolutely. I find them both really comfortable, but holding them in your hands is the best way to judge what will work for you. Have fun at the show!

I keep telling my self to stop buying pens. I've reached the point that I have too many pens to rotate quickly and beloved pens go months without being used. Then I said I was going to pare down the number - "Nope, not that one. And I keeping this one too. No, not that one either..." *sigh*
I did talk myself out of the Leonardo Galattica Universe, but I have been drooling over the pictures and videos.
I’m sorry to have added to that noise.🤣 I really am being so much better behaved this year than in the previous ones. But I am absolutely with you when it comes to needing to cut the flock.

OMG!! 🎆😍😍😍 That BENU is yowzah!!! But that Leonardo - serious glamour!!! Actually, both of those Leonardos are yummy!! Thank goodness the larger circumferenced bodies make my hand ache; that's the only thing between me and the poor house. I have failed miserably with my no/low buy! (I have Manda to blame for that!) But that BENU, it is now on my list.
It's pretty interesting that the feed is so much thinner on the Grande. Not having ever used an elastic/flex nib, is the reasoning for this related to the nib material? I would think that the gold nib would be softer and have more flex/give, so it would need more quick ink capacity than the steel nib, so a bigger feed would fill that demand a bit easier than a skimpy feed would.
Like others mentioned, thanks much for the size comparisons. I laughed out loud when you brought out the Sailor. 😆I'd hate to see a PGS (my favorite pen size) next to it.

Yeah, I don’t know why the feed is that way. I think because it’s ebonite? Maybe they’re saving on material? Your guess is as good as mine.
Beyond my local pen shop’s pen show this weekend and the new piston Kaweco and and and, I’ve been good! 😊 I did make it all through January with no stationery purchases. I’m going to try to reign myself back in until the bigger local pen show.

This is fantastic! I am loving all of your new pens. I just recently got my first Euphoria and I’m shocked at how much I love the feel in hand. But that Pen Addict color is calling!!! I also love my Leonardo MZ Grande, but I’m excited to try the MZ standard size. I hope the section doesn’t bother me too much. You are right that the straighter sections have a great feel in the hand. And your gold elastic nib is amazing! What a beautiful writer. Great choice with Iroshizuku.

Honestly I really love both sizes. I need to ink them both to really compare though 😉. The MZ has a strange section, but I really find it comfortable. Let me know how it fits your hand when you get it.
