EDIT: I actually got my train stations + city's mixed up. My bad! It was Gare du Nord to du Gare de I'Est. This movie hit way too close for comfort. In 2003 I was in Paris going from Gare de Nord to Gare de Sud about 8am on a Sunday morning. I was heading to the airport to go home to Australia. I had walked part way when I noticed a couple of guys following me but on the other side of the street. Then another guy in front of me slowed down n tried to make conversation. He offered to help carry my overnight bag but when I declined the offer n tried to continue walking he got a little aggressive n then the two guys on the other side crossed over towards me n stood around me saying that they could take me to Gare de Sud by car. I had a very bad feeling. Thankfully, but unbeknownst to me at the time, there had been a group of friends, (one guy + two girls), walking about 200 metres behind n they hurriedly came up calling out to me saying "Hey there you are. We've been looking for you! You must've taken the wrong street". They hugged me as if we were friends n that spooked the three guys who then quickly took off. I don't know what their true intentions were but I don't believe it was to help me. Thank the Lord above for those three beautiful French strangers that morning. 🙏😊💙

It was not only fun watching Liam take all these guys down one by one, but I think the movie was also successful because it played on every father’s deepest fear. The only difference is that most fathers would be pretty much helpless, having to rely on the authorities .
