“My dada always keeps it loaded”
I'm mean, what are you gonna doing a robber breaks into your house. Or if your wife died because you couldn't care enough to see her after your job, instead you wanted to go to the bar and you would only go home after she was asleep. And you keep doing that for 15 weeks. Soon enough she can't handle it and ends her life leaving behind the 2 children (one 4, the other 6) you basically ignored since they were born. One year later you got crippling depression and you couldn't handle it anymore. So you got the colt 1851 navy revolver from your wife closet that you had not opened since she died. Then you put the gun to your head. And said good bye to your two children and said you loved them. You called 911. After they answered... you shot your self. The operator heard the to children screaming saying "daddy no don't go" 10 minutes later police break in to see both children on the floor dead. The both shot themselves. The eldest had a note beside her saying, "we went to go see daddy again". So it makes perfect to keep a gun loaded

you know that things in the past where politically charged for the time too, it isnt just a modern thing. You only think it is only a modern occurrence because you are only personally familiar with modern politics.
