  • Make Sure it's 1080p! Cramer Tunnel is Minnesota's Longest Train Tunnel running 1,800 feet or Five (5) Football fields. Located near Schroeder, the tunnel has not been used since October of 2008.

    Is that train tunnel still active for train traffic? Would be scary to enter it if it's still active.

      It was last used in October of 2008. Still a little scary or spooky going through though. Thanks for the watch!

      @@andrewfosbinder2826 Apparently, the overpass over Highway 61 was drooping down and was hit by a Semi-Truck. Also, other reasons I'm sure.

      @@andrewfosbinder2826 I believe the plant closed in 2002 according to article I read, and they ran clean up trains up until 2008. Again, it was from an article I read, I don't know which site I found it on.

      They removed the middle overpass sometime in the mid 2010's. Not sure exactly the year. Yes, a semi truck did hit it.
