Insulin Calculations and Dosing | Managing Childhood Diabetes

This eight-part, new-onset diabetes video series is used by Beaumont Health, along with the Managing Childhood Diabetes binder and the hospital educational checklist. Review of basal and bolus insulins regarding insulin dosing is discussed. The correction factor, target blood sugar and insulin-to-carbohydrate ratios are explained in relationship to calculating an insulin dose.
