Thank you for taking the time to give us this information. I am new to this. My dilemma is that I have the original NGI Ecosoya PB soy wax that I am going to use in glass containers that are only 2.25 inches in diameter with a straight edge. I have been testing and so far the wax is not pulling away from the container/glass. My problem is finding the correct wick for full melt pool without getting to hot. I am using what I have that only says, "primed 8oz", and I have no idea what that means. From what I have read, I am thinking I should try a size 12-14? Also is there a definitive or correct way to soften the wax a wee bit. I tried both refined and unrefined coconut oil, but am not there yet, and it seemed more coconut oil did not allow a wider melt pool.

Hello! I haven't tried this myself but I think the best way would be to experiment? Also if you do decide to mix it, there may be a chance of the candle becoming too soft either when you take it out the mold or when you leave it sitting on the shelf and it becomes discoloured or an uneven texture.
