I really enjoyed this, and appreciate the behind the scenes perspectives on being coaches wives, moms, and sons of coaches. These young men seem to have a level-headed and healthy perspective on sports, and life in general. As a sports fan (especially UConn men's basketball and football), it saddens me when I read/hear the things other "fans" sometimes say when the teams lose or don't perform to expectations. People forget coaches and athletes are human beings just like the rest of us. I concur with the other poster here who recommended watching the movie Facing The Giants as a gamechanger as far as coaching perspectives are concerned!
Very interesting discussion, and thanks to all for sharing. I would strongly suggest watching the movie "Facing The Giants" if you haven't seen it already. It totally changed my perspective on coaching....in a positive way.
You guys are awesome!
Not pushed . But pulled into the ball orbit . The gravitational pull is enormous.
