There are some people of the older generation that are just sensible, honest, and intelligent based on good old fashioned basic morals. Coach Mike, Arnold Palmer, John Wooden to name a few. It’s a shame that their message does not carry over and passed on to majority of others in position to have influence. These are the people that should be in leadership and decision making positions. Today’s leaders care more about power, money, fame and self vs doing what is right for the people they represent.

As a fan it makes it hard for me to follow my team if I know most of those kids will be gone in 3 or 4 years or next year. I'm afraid we will no longer watch a team grow. It is one and done. Plus, the money will be centered in the SEC and The Big Ten. We may be down to two leagues and that is a dangerous place to be.

Has it been asked if the NIL might work under a salary cap system? Players negotiate their deals but the teams/AD have a NIL salary cap.

NIL is great and totally out of control. Maybe a salary cap by sport and division.
He doesnt miss coaching? How can you do something for that long and not miss it...its not even coaching much as it is teaching at that level.

I loved the days of MLB when it was four teams. It made the regular season matter. The last month of baseball was so exciting. Those days are gone.
