Westchester Symphonic Winds November 2023 Concert

Our 36th season opened with this concert, featuring apprentice conductor Andrew A. Hill, guest conductor Dr. Brian K. Doyle, and guest English horn soloist Pedro R. Díaz. The program also features our invitational Double Reed Ensemble, performing Bohemian Rhapsody. This concert was performed live at Tarrytown Music Hall, Tarrytown, New York.

I am so proud to be a bassoonist with the Double Reed Invitational. I hope we have the opportunity to play together again soon.
Bohemian Rhapsody is one of my favorite pieces of music. Performing it with these amazing reed players was a great honor I never expected to have in my musical career.

I so enjoyed this entire concert! Loved the music selections and was enthralled by Pedro’s solo work on the English horn. So proud of my granddaughter Alyssa Hiener who performed on oboe in the double reed ensemble! Thrilling!
