I love love love this video! This is what I’ve been telling myself, no need to buy more fragrances but instead, layer them to get them the most of what I have. 😁. When I met Milk, I had learned to love even those fragrances I’ve been wanting to declutter. I’ve layered Milk with Kilian Princess, with Greenwich Village, with Kilian Love. I’ve layered HSW with Ani, with Angels Share, and with BR540. PDM Cassili with Oriana, with Cruz Del Sur II. And I’ve layered Angels’ Share with Milk too!😁🥰😍Rouge Malachite with Roja Essence 51. Omg, I guess I’ve been doing the mixology thing a lot. And this video just got me even more excited!

I like layering my perfumes, but I have to admit; I don't really think that much about it. I spray my perfume, and sometimes I decide to spray another one, too. And sometimes I wear a different one on my right side than on my left side.
But your tips are still helpful, so thank you.

I don't layer my fragrances, I mix them in old sample vials. I made my own Kayali and Gritti out of fragrances I had in my stash. Similar enough for me, I get a ton of compliments, people want to know what I'm wearing

I mix my own too with vials from Amazon. You are right, it can completely change fragrances into your own. Love it!

My nine year old daughter saw my almost empty 10ml By The Fireplace next to my new 10ml. empty vials. She said (I’m assuming she says this bc she ALWAYS see me layering my perfumes) “mommy, what if you add some of this (Vanilla 28) into this (almost empty BTF). Or you can mix your own perfumes.” I was so surprised she came
up with that, I laughed and hugged her saying “baby, you’re so smart!” LOL I agree, we can start making our own fragrances 😊

I love these type videos !!!!!!!!!! Everybody wants to talk about layering with body creams but I enjoy the idea of mixing the fragrances together …. I did No.5 today and layered with Ani! BIG MISTAKE….CHOKED ME OUT!!!!! I was TAKE IT OFF…take it off!!!! Toooooo much lolololol

One of my favorite layering combos is Kayali Invite Only + Burning Cherry, or Vanilla Royale with anything to make it sexier. I find Ari's new Mod Vanilla is a great layering frag to give it an airy sweet vibe! Shhh but the new Black Opium Le Parfum is going to be my 2nd favorite layering vanilla! Will be talking about it soon. Really enjoyed hearing your layering combos! I just love your channel! 🤗

I am DEFINITELY going to try Rosendo and BK540 omg! I have tried layering, but haven't been too successful 😆. This was very insightful, bc layering videos don't go in depth of how many sprays to do and why the amount of sprays depending on the fragrance. Thank you!

Often some of the other fragrance videos that I’ve seen about layering they only talk about layering oils and body lotions with perfumes, but it doesn’t teach anything it’s only giving ideas on combinations. I wanted to go a little bit more in depth, because I believe that that is important information that needs to be taught to people that are looking to learn how to play with her .

I just layered Invite Only Amber with Rouge Smoking yesterday and was living for it! I find Rouge Smoking a bit too sweet some days but Invite Only added a tartness that worked so well. I’m excited to try some of these combos. Thanks!!

I absolutely love layering my fragrances but I don’t use any particular criteria🤩🤩. My favourite layering combos are Invite Only & Cherry Smoothie, Noir Pour Femme & Si Fiori, Noir Pour Femme & Poison Girl, Mon Parfum & Pas Ce Soir, BR540 & Bois Dore, Invite Only & Ala Folie etc. I will try some f the ones that you have mentioned👌👌. Definitely some great combos that I’ve never thought of doing, specially Noir pour femme is a fragrance I’ve been wanting for a long time and I’ve never been able to wear it on its own, but may be five layer it with something more feminine like Si Fiori I can see how it can work 😃🥰

Today I am wearing a favorite for both of us, La Belle Terrible JPG and I will layer it either with You from Glossier or Ambre Vanille Eau Gourmande by Laura Mercier...depending on how the weather changes within a couple of hours. Happy Saturday!
Those are incredible, layering, combos I never thought of layering Labelle Terrible with glossier you!!! That sounds so beautiful, I really wish they came out with a glossier you extrait something a little bit more projecting, because I adore that fragrance the only one that has got me closer to a little bit of a better performance is radiant nectar by clean, which that could also be a good combo for La belle terrible. 🥰🥰

Yes a similar scent to teo cabanel!!! I’ve wanted to get my nose on it but it’s too expensive. I need a good coffee scent now.
It’s kind of hard to find a good coffee fragrance with great longevity at a decent price, I think so far opium is the only one that is not crazy priced and still able to be found on discount from time to time. If I come across anything else I’ll definitely bring it to the channel 🤗😃

@@DanielleNicoleMakeup I definitely recommend Purple Suede if you are looking for a smooth leather based scent. It is not a rough leather like Tuscan leather which I also enjoy. But more smooth and versatile. It is also long lasting. A must try in my opinion.

What other layering combos can I try with BR540? It’s so mild on me, and I’d like to give it more strength, an oomph.

Milk is amazing! I absolutely love it. It is such a versatile fragments to wear on its own or two layer it with other fragrances and the performance is 10 out of 10.

Funny how things can be different for a lot of people. Vanilla 28 is a fragrance that dominates in every mix I have tried. That's okay though because I love it on its own.

Which Citrus/Ambroxan fragrances would you recommend for layering?
Some of my faves are Escentric 01 Escentric Molecules, Another 13 and Not A Perfume
Me looking at Oh La La and eyeing Milk too... for me Oh La La isn't creamy at all🤔. Also staring at This is Her! and Arabians Tonka which I sometimes layer with Instant Crush 😅. I got into a place where I could smell Arabians Tonka aaaall over the place and the woman wearing it told me she layered it with Another 13 and of course A.T. overpowered everything and I thought to myself "what a waste of Another 13" 🥴. I have sprayed Baccarat EDP to a lot of my dark fragrances and works like a dream. Rosendo Mateu + Iris Malikhân = my prefered layered scent atm. Sometimes I add 2 sprays of Santal Austral (for me this is quite a creamy sandalwood) with Oh La La too 👀. Baccarat with N 5 is dreeeamy!

I know Another 13 is way too expensive to be layering it just like that, I wanted to get it, but for some reason the last time I went to smell it again at Nordstrom. It didn’t smell good to me. I don’t know why it’s changing every time I try it.
I definitely have to try that combo of this is her and Arabian Stanka. I’m curious now I can see how Arabians Tonka can work really well with instant crush.

I would say, it really depends on whether you’re wanting to take the fragments of towards the sweeter direction or a little bit more of a fresh citrus.
Obviously, anything that is very much of a thick vanilla will add a nice touch to those fragrances and your ratio would vary, whether you want the fragrance to lean more gourmend or stay as closest possible to the original fragrance .
Some options for an extra touch a vanilla would be : Vanilla 28 by kayali - Ani by Nishane or even Seta by Moresque.
For a touch of freshness I would think combining it with : Bal D’afrique or Musk Therapy or 724 by MFK or Aventus or even virgin island water in the summertime just added a summer freshness.

I don’t on that one, but I did smell it at the store a while back, I would play with anything that is very sweet, but at the same time light and watery. I would try vanilla 28, angel, nova, EDT , Pas ce soir by BDK, I would also play with any of the Di Gioia perfumes such as Ocean Di Gioia, Acqua Di Gioia and Terra Di Gioia, also another good one to experiment is Chanel chance eau tendre

The only reason to layer a fragrance is to get a better performance. I like to use a good bodycream for layering.
I agree, definitely incrementing the performance is important, every time I’ve tried layering with a lotion, or a cream to increase the performance. It doesn’t work on me. I’m never able to get a different, same profile, nor I’m able to get better longevity, I’m not really sure why but my skin just doesn’t work that way 🤣🤣🥴🥴

if you paid over 150 dollars for a fragrance and it needs layering, then you got robbed. Cheaper fragrances I think it's justifiable.
