- Hi friends today I am going to show DIY Portable Water Purifier at Home.
In this filter You can also add pre- filter , this will increase life of other filters.
You can find all the material at local market or from online .
it is better to purchase the material from local market.
Materials I have used----
1x plastic container
1x Sediment filter ( 12 inch filter)
1x Carbon filter ( 12 inch filter)
1x UF Membrane
1 x Mineral cartridge
1x UV barrel / bowl 8”
1x UV lamp 11 watt
1x UV Choke / adapter 220v AC
1x 12v,3A dc power supply
1x 12v water pump (use 2.5 LPM)
1x water tab
6x Elbow
2x I-connector
14x Push fitting locks
4x C-Clamps
4x X-Clamps (1 side large and 1 side small)
2 feet RO filter Pipe,Dual tape Etc
Note : . Do not drink 1st 20 liters of water during 1st use .

I would suggest locating the electrical components at the top rather than the bottom to minimize damage if a leak occurs.

It is definitely a SAFETY advantage to place the electrical parts on top.
No matter where you physically place the UV it should be the last stage the water passes through
It should be placed at right location the sediment filter and carbon filter always at. The top beacuse of best water flow

Well, I hope you could name it, brand it, sell it through any online shopping. You are really great and talented, keep going. Intimate once you get into the field of manufacturing coz all other brands sell at a price of 300% profit.
I think that sediment filter would be the first place, and the carbon filter should be before mineral cartridge.

Plz google the ro water purifier flow chart,u will urself see tat this diy project is a waste of time cos ur not at all getting pure ro water,there is no ro membrane, and tds controller and hence u cant get any pure water.its only filtering water hardness and some solvents tats all.

Nice idea,but I have many doubts! The waste water outlest? And Diods 5Amp or 10amp ? Very less change in TDS value? Any way great initiative, keep going...bro👍
He hasn't used reverse osmosis membrane, so no waste water outlet. Because there is no RO membrane, the reduction in TDS would be bare minimum... filters do not remove dissolved solids, filtration is for removing insoluble substances. Also, the TDS meter he used is a cheap chinese product that can't be trusted. I had a similar meter and it gave false readings.
RO filter is missing in your unit, thats y TDS value is high even after filteration

Its good but. The sediment filter should be first or you will clog the charcoal filter. As said before, electronics at the top. The diodes are a bodge, each one drops the voltage by 0.7v, so a variable resistor would be better, or a pump that runs at the specified capacity. Otherwise, it does what you need it to, but you will need to replace the charcoal filter far more often than you should, unless you install it in the correct order.

Good idea. But some mistakes. UV will not effective in such a high flow of water pass through UV barrel. And no need of water pump if inlet pipe connectd to a water supply . Mineral cartridge has no role if no RO memberane.

He is not using RO filter, so there is no need of draining

Sir I have purchased UV UF Filter. My submersible pump doesn't lift water to 6 ft height. Output pure flow is slow. 1lt bottle fills up in 5 minutes. Please suggest a good pump that can suck water from bucket upto 8ft height with pressure to the Pre filter or outer filter.
In Kent like same filter mechanism some water goes waste only filtered collects in storage tank .so waste water outlet missing 🤔

C clamp in which U can fit one barrel but X clamp has two opposite C clamp where Ucan fit two barrel

Where is RO cartridge? The Main component. Like the video anyway.
Where are you disposing the bad water? Considering you made a r.o.system without a storage tank, it also need to dispose of the waste water/ regenerate.

No why should you put minerals before input to uv light?..salt .like cristals ..to avoid..filter before..what you did..after for protecting your light..you put in what you need..i like clear water..cheers
which type of carbon filter you used. pre carbon filter or post carbon filter

330 tds to 280tds.. ..
but i think RO water filter reduces tds below 100 or atleast 4times that you get from tap water?
I like you idea, however I don't trust that tiny UF membrane and the mineral cartridge will only help damage the UV lamp.
Id do the same but remove the mineral cartridge and use a better membrane.
1.But what is the need of Mineral Cartridge when RO membrane is not used?
2. UF should have been placed after UV lamp.

The uf membrane is fake, if you cut it, you will find prices of foam
Where does the waste water go, any outlet for that.
RO(reverse osmosis) membrane is not available in this setup, so no waste water.
Is it desalinating the water???

How did the water flow start immediately when you switched on the current.
Water needs to flow through all the units till it comes out and it requires time.

आपने वाटर प्यूरीफायर तो बहुत अच्छा बनाया लेकिन फ़िल्टर सभी गलत लगाए। पहले कार्बन नहीं सेडीमेंट लगाया जाता है। पंप से भी पहले सेडीमेंट लगाया जाता है लेकिन मान लिया यहाँ रनिंग वाटर नहीं हैं इसलिए आपने पंप पहले लगाया लेकिन पंप के बाद सेडीमेंट फ़िल्टर लगेगा। एक बात और जब यह ro नहीं है तो टीडीएस कम कैसे हो गया
1.Jab RO Membrane nahi Hai toh Mineral Kit ki kya Zarurat???
2. Aur jab Mineral kit laga di toh Filter water ka TDS Kam kaise Hua Bina RO Membrane Key???
Isme tds ka kuch treatment ho he nahi raha,complete failure hai,jinko ro k baare me pata hai vo isse banayenge he nahi,issme tds controller hai he nahi ,only water k thode bahut solvents aur impurities ko kam karega tats all.

Y motor pump n SMPS? Without dem u can easily get d filtered water, use uv choke for uv that's it.
Y diodes y not tds control both r same.
If u add SMPS then add SV too.
I just want to remove the minerals from the water to run through a mister. Can I just connect the mineral filter to my water line?

yes. it can. but you have to go for high capacity RO membrane which can handle even 3000 TDS.

Source water TDS level is good enough. Only pre sediment, carbon, UF, and uv filter is enough to get clean water with a good TDS level. Why are you using a mineral cartridge?
