I don't think Liam and Noah know how to cooperate in such type of challenges... You don't just delete everything others made just because you don't like it. Try to make the most out of other devs' ideas, it's not only YOUR project.
It’s funny cause they’re the ones who came up with the idea so they should know how it works the best
Considering they’ve kicked out pry close to 100 games at this point that they’ve thrown on steam, after only a week of development, they seem to be very “quantity over quality” types. Aside from their “x number of devs worked on one game” videos I honestly find the channel to be a bit of a joke….
They do this every episode, he enforces his ugly art on every project
Fr, they always ruin great games and make them all look the same with a very specific art style.
This title made me remember of a quote: "Project Manager is somebody who thinks that 9 pregnant woman can deliver a baby in 1 month"
That is a pretty good quote, will try and place it in a conversation some day! ;D

The 3D platformer came out quite nice, the gorgeous sprites in a 3D world makes for an interesting look.

I think starting with code instead of some visuals to convey your direction was a mistake, no one ever does that in these challenges for a reason

idk the only way I know how collab on unity is plastic SCM and you should just be able to go through the version history, seems like he just wanted to restart.

This is such a fun idea! It could be fun to put a 'Christmas twist' on it and make each game specifically for another person in the group (this person would be skipped in the cycle). Then have that person react to his / her game at the end

Only a few minutes in, I'm assuming Noa is gonna ruin each game with bosses
shut it, bosses are a good addition
Noa says “I had to leave for a few hours” partway through so he can move himself to be the last person in the cycle for three of the games… and then “accidentally deleted the entire level” (his words) at the end for the most fun one

I really like the idea of a 2D character in a 3D world. Props to Polymars
I think this shows that the games can be much better when the devs have more of their hours in a single session instead of spread across multiple sessions.

out of the only 2 videos I've watched on this channel they both ended with noa deleting everyone else's work just for his own
exactly it’s super annoying when someone makes a good game and he just removes it because he doesn’t want that game and just wants a shooter or smth
Yeah then he adds a new rule and make sure he goes first so everything goes his way
Great video - suggestion if you do more of these. It would be fun to see the reaction of all developers playing eachother's games. Maybe all in a call where you recap and discuss what was changed & what each person's mindset was going into the projects. Looking forward to more videos from you guys

I love this series / concept so much but it’s so frustrating sometimes to see some of the hard work put in completely bulldozed by blackthorn prod 🙃 I like it best when they let EVERYONE shine, and build something together, don’t just scrap stuff because it’s not their exact taste

I am also a Game Dev, but currently I have no time at all. But I would love to be part of some of those challenges at the beginning of next year. Because on the weekend spending some time on something like this would be really fun and I could finally have some content again for my CZcams Channel which got not so much love in recent years. Because I studied Game Development and now work in a Games Company, after working in normal IT as a Programmer for a year.
i honestly don’t blame noah and liam this video, the other devs didn’t do much at all to help the projects

Still love the idea, but there are a lot of tower defence type of games, which is a bit tiring. I wonder what will be next in this series? Baybe the same idea not in short but in long? For example one project a few devs and a few days & cycles?
Game B might be my favorite, i like the growing and shrinking adding a puzzle feel to it

It is frustrating when the devs try and do something with a game, and Liam and Noah immediately delete it.

to be fair sam didn’t actually make anything so i forgive liam for starting something new
literally one round sam just made the platforms rotate weirdly which makes the game look bad and makes no sense
What are the odds of training someone completely new to this. Then be able to make a game
You should be scared every time polymars says that he will make his own sound effects
"no communication" yet Noah uses text in 2 games to explain to the next dev what his plan was with the game.

Cool! As an idea for a similar video I can propose something like "4 Devs try to Mess Up each other's game", adding some plot twists, changing the genre completely, turning a peaceful clicker into a survival horror or something like that:D
