      Oh the joys of web technology (sorry about that)... we're trying to figure out why it's not allowing you to grab the icon pack and can't figure out what's wrong. You can shoot me an email at taylor "at" nutsandboltsspeedtraining.com and I can attach it in the meantime.

    Camille, Love your content, so I've subscribed.
    Here's my question: Any chance you could get a partner Mac user to help you develop a "bridge" video training, say something like: "The 5 key differences to watch for if you're using PPT on a Mac vs. a PC," or something like that? (or, some PPT Mac-centric compatriot you could point me to?)
    Why I'm asking: I'm a creative director in marketing/advertising/design. Myself, and a LOT of my colleagues use Powerpoint on a Mac (not a PC). After watching your videos, and many others', on master slide presentation template creation, I realize most pros I know pay very little attention the MS PPT master slides at all (Reasons?: 1. Some is just not knowing, 2. probably some bias against the evil MS empire, and 3. mostly just being used to creating things from scratch in Adobe CS apps). However, I can see for sure ways that the knowledge you give in your videos explain many things about why our lovingly-designed PPT slides often get so throughly bastardized once leaving out pure, loving, parental designer hands once they enter the everyday-PC grubby-handed, corporate world playground.. ;-)). And, although it's not really that difficult to make the leap from what you present on a PC interface to a Mac iOS, there are a few things that MS (in its infinite (evil empire) wisdom ;-)) decided to NOT include on the Mac version of PPT. The most frustrating example is leaving the option to applying "CUSTOM FONTS" into the dialogue like it does on a PC.
    Thanks for these straight-forward, thorough and well-communicated video trainings. ~Jeff

      Thanks for the comment and the subscribe, Jeff!
      Sure, I can boot up my Mac and put together some of the top differences for you. Let me see what I can come up with.
      Sadly, custom fonts are not available on PPT for Mac, and while I love to rag on the evil empire too, this time it's actually an issue with the other evil empire, Apple :-)

    After watching, I tried to also download the 886 free icon bundle, but the links on the page simply point back to the page itself, not the download, or even an e-mail address collector to send the link.

      Thanks for the heads up on that, I just sent you an email with a ZIP folder of the icons. Not sure what happened with the link, we will check on that, thanks!

    i dont think such templates will keep your audience quite engaged ......tooo much text is there

    • @Nutsandboltsspeedtraining
      @Nutsandboltsspeedtraining  Před 4 lety

      Thanks for the comment and that is a valid point. It all depends on what type of presentations you are giving and/or how you are using PowerPoint. If you are giving a Ted Talk, one big visual is fine... if you are delivering a project report to a board of directors, you often need more text, figures and numbers.
