@@gorgonzola86 It's interesting that you mentioned that Lego set. I used Bricklink Studio 2.0 to create a remake of that, using its original white with red trim color scheme. Kept the 4-engine, high-wing layout with the swing-open rear access. I took some liberty with the twin tail design, changing the twin-boom a standard fuselage, with two vertical stabs on a wide, horizontal tail.

0:38 Actually that is not entirely true. Medical airplanes do exist. They are mostly used to transport passengers from remote areas to properly equipped hospitals fast or to take travelers who got into an accident abroad home.
Those planes don't always need a proper runways either, there are plenty of airplanes which can land on relatively short runways/on grass strips.
I mean to be fair, those plans won't be able to land directly at the site of the emergency but helicopters can't do that always either
6:00 That is not true either. There are plenty of turboprop aircraft still in active service to this day like the lockheed martin c-130

In my opinion, I hate the plane for 2020. This is because of the fact that there is only six seats inside. Another reason is since they focused too much on the minifigs and plane, the terminal is too simplistic. This is probably because lego has becoming really overpriced in the last couple of years. The named characters in the set are distracting from the fact of the low seat count. Just look at the amount of windows, then look at product images of the inside of the plane and you'll agree. The cargo space and vehicle also distract from the fact that that there are only six seats. The small terminal, named characters from Lego City Adventures, and only SIX freaking seats just goes to show how far Lego has come in the last couple of decades in the City airplane line, right?

Both the fire planes have the ability to drop water (in the form of studs). Though the only difference is one drops 1x1x1 round studs and the other drops 1x1x2 round studs.

Sorry but I think #2 looks more like an A380 as the A380 has the cockpit between the two decks and the Jumbo has it on the upper deck, making the Jumbo much more pleasant to look at. The A380 and the #2 look like they are bald or something, which just makes them ugly in my opinion. Please note, that this is my opinion and the ranking is completely your opinion. Otherwise very nice summary of all the LEGO planes ❤️

Obviously this is all based in opinion, but you should've at least done your research before making such false claims about certain things "not existing" or being inaccurate. Also if you're going to rank something, you should be consistent in the way you do so; your reasoning doesn't make sense for half of them.

7723 is easily the worst. It's only play function was that it looked like a sea plane, nothing else too it. No interior, barely a cockpit, every was bare bones. Totally felt like they just needed another plane that year.
I didn't really like this set as a kid, besides it looking semi interesting it really sucked.

I thing the actual best would be the most recent plane, set 60367 Passenger Airplane, simply because it introduced a new mold for the wings that firmly integrates it into the fuselage, completely negating the old wing plate that limited interior space.

"A medical aircraft is always going to be a helicopter..."
Except for all the times where it isn't. Medical aircraft are used all the time to medivac patients long distances rapidly or to transfer a patient from a hospital in a small town to a much larger regional facility or facility located in a major metropolitan area that can provide the care needed for the health and welfare of the patient. Generally, you'll find them in roles where helicopters aren't practical due to distance, speed, and safety concerns. It isn't unheard of for a passenger to be initially transported from an accident scene by helicopter to a waiting medivac aircraft to take them to a regional hospital.

Aw, I kinda like 3181, that you put in second last. I see it as a simple commuter jet, for short trips. It's not perfect; minifigs have to lean forward in the seats in order to put the roof on. And sure, overpriced. I got it second-hand though, so it was pretty cheap for me.
