without an American insurance.
My mom was visitng me from another country,
and one day, she started feeling bad
We called her doctor
She said her symptoms didn't look good
and asked me to take her to the nearest emergency room
The doctors and nurses there were really nice
Ran around 7 tests
checked her blood
checked her heart and did a CT.
Thanks God, everything was fine with my mom
So they sent us back home
and two weeks later bills started to coming in
2326 dollars
That's after discounts,
because the initial is 11.222 dollars
My mom actually had a travel insurance,
So we will try to send all of this to her travel insurance
and see whether it would cover all the bills.
Please make sure you have a travel insurance.
