  • Today's daily update video from South Africa is on 16 April 2024. In this video, we start today's video with the clean-up of the roads after the black eastern storm in Cape Town, South Africa. Then, the new Sea Rescue team is being trained at Simon's Town in the Western Cape Province of South Africa today. We also visit the Bourke's Luck Potholes in the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve. Then, we negotiated the ladders on Lions Head on Signal Hill in Cape Town. We then drive around Kruger National Park and spot a giraffe on the road. We spent some time at Wilderness, walked around the Transnet Museum in George, and visited several more places across South Africa.

Also, this video shows a few clips from around South Africa, including onboard the Inchanga Choo Choo Umgeni Steam Railway that departed from Inchanga Station Craft Market on the last Sunday of each month. This train station is in the outermost part of Durban. Spotted an African harrier hawk in a tree at Vryheid. Stop over at the Illovo nursery and garden centre. Watch ostriches next to the fence at Thorncastle in Polokwane. Close-up of the moon from Blue Horizon Bay, then go out on the Sea Trails at Hout Bay, and we ended today's video walking around the Transnet train museum in George in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.

Cape Town where everything works, from street lights to sewerage. In Gauteng and the rest of South Africa, sewerage all over, light not working due to theft and vandalism. Electricity theft, cables running over the street or hanging from the trees.
