What a finale, powerful, emotional, exciting, scary. Poor everyone!
I love this finale so much. In the moment, I didn't appreciate its greatness. But watching back-- WOW!
Seeing Ezekiel Rick and Maggie standing on that podium side by side gives me chills every time I even think about it Three incredible leaders standing proudly in front of their united communities with that music and Maggieâs words over the top Gets me every time.
The scene where Sasha is looking at the coffin about to get into it with the sunset in the background and the music always touches me Knowing she wonât ever see the sun again.
I loved the look on Rickâs face when Jadis told Michonne I lay with him afterđ€Ł
This episode makes me cry lol but Carl, Sasha, and Shiva were the MVPs.
And now we know who the "little birdie" was, gobble gobble. No need to apologize for calling them "trash people" and "the Garbage Pail Kids," everyone does đ That was a great reaction to a great finale! I'm really excited too that Dawn's blind to the rest of the seasons.
Like many, I didn't know who Bernie Wrightson was, so I'm glad they did that dedication, and RIP Bernie. He was an amazing artist whose iconic work I've seen for most of my life, such as _The Swamp Thing_ and the _Creepshow_ comics, and was also inspiration for the walker designs. In fact, back in season 6, episode 6 "Always Accountable," when Daryl first met Dwight and Sherry (and coincidentally Abraham and Sasha first hunker down together), after Daryl escapes from them, a walker bears down on him while he struggles to get his crossbow out of his bag. That was the "Swamp Thing walker," designed as a tribute to Wrightson. It also had a detail that's easily missed: a Cherokee rose was sprouting from it.

I believe the actress who played the woman that beat Michonne does some form of MMA fighting in real life/trains with weights so it is Good they cast someone with a somewhat broader frame to compete with Michonneâs physique.

After the mid Season finale of this Season News came out that Sonequa Martin Green (Sasha) was cast as a leading role on the Star Trek CBS series so a lot of people figured that sheâd be the Season finale death.

Yeah Walking Dead is by far one of the best shows ever on TV and itâs still going strong currently in itâs Final Season The writers are amazing the people the characters are just so good You really do get invested in these characters and when you lose one man it just hurts Yeah this is definitely a great Season finale and Iâm so glad that you love The Walking Dead just as much as I do and all of The Walking Dead Fans.
