- When faced with a critical deadline always go above and beyond and slap your procrastination in the face. We needed to get our baby bunnies out of the smaller hutch and into something a bit more spacious that would also allow them to have a fresh garden salad every day, a simple rabbit tractor just wouldn’t have cut it. So, with the help and inspiration from my youngest daughter we proudly present the BUNNY CASTLE.

As a father and grandfather of girls, this was heartwarming to see your daughter working on this awesome looking tractor with you. She's quite talented, and has a great smile.
Also, that's a really nice looking shop.
My girls and I are raising TAMUKs in TX, and are thinking about a colony setup.
I really appreciate that. My girls are very involved in all are projects and it makes it just that much more fun. I’m interested to see how a colony set up works out for you. Good luck and let us know.
Looks great. Rabbits are fun for kids as well as adults. We are in the process of building a grazing pen for our rabbits as well. Thanks for the great ideas.
Absolutely!! We really enjoy our bunnies and all the benefits we get from having them
Wow- my tractor is for my peasant bunnies. What an awesome build!!
🤣🤣🤣 your poor peasant rabbits!! Thank you for checking us out. It was a fun build.
HI WATCHING FROM THE PHILIPPINES
I'm glad I found this Video
Now I will make my own rabbit mower too!
That’s awesome to hear!! Ours is working like a champ.
Great idea!!! So fabulous that you are doing this as a family.
Thank you so much!!! Best way I’ve come up with so far to teach my girls is to have them involved and hands on with our projects.
inspirational❤
Thank you!
Great build! Great Family! God Bless!
Thank you! That is extremely kind. We appreciate it!
That was so much fun watching. I love the castle designs. Great job!
Thank you! Little girl had such a good time helping me build her bunny castle.
Very nice. Good job. Great teamwork.
I would have to have locks on those lids. We have every predator you can just about name.
Yes latches will be added this week!!
Good job sir! The cattle fence looks better than the 2"x4" fence. If I could redo my tractor I would have bought the 4"x4" fence because it's cheaper than the hog/cattle fence. I'm worried about my 19-guage hardware cloth floor because the bunnies are chewing at the grass under it and pulling at the mesh. It all depends on what you can afford. I live near a Habitat for Humanity reuse shore so I can find cheap used stuff.
Thanks! I didn't even think about checking out a Habitat for Humanity location. Thats brilliant. Thanks for the tip!
@@cedarporchhomestead Sorry, typo, that was 4"x4" fence works great for the bottom of the rabbit tractor. 2"x4" is too small for my Flemish Giant, but prevents digging. I'm personally using a 69"x29" metal chicken coop with 2.4 8-feet pressure treated boards setup so the bunnies can't chew on it by covering the entire bottom with 3-feet wide fence, and using a 3-feet wide 1/2" hardware cloth for the floor to make an elevated bunny house using the metal chicken perch that comes with the coop, and you run the HW Cloth vertical up around the perch and back down to connect to the 2x2. You then insert reflective insulation wrapped in waterproof outdoor curtain, and wrap the outside with two lengths of 24" side reflective insulation wrapped in outdoor curtain, and you do another piece of insulation wrapped in curtain for the rear of the house, and staple that to the 2x2 on the outside, and it makes a really good cover. Just requires some sowing.
@@CaleMcCollough Wow. really interesting. thats cool
Awesome ideal....we like it.
Great. Thank you
Tell her great job
Will do! Thanks
Have to say Sr.You have a great mustache
That’s hilarious…. And I appreciate your comment. 🤣😂👨🏻🚒
Hilarious 😂😅
Did Royce Lopez make you do this?
I think your going to find that tractor is to small. We use 4×8. 2 rabbits pretty much destroy the ground in a day.
I totally agree if we had more rabbits in the tractor and we also move it twice a day, so that helps. Thank you for your advice, I’ll keep that in mind for the next one.
Treated lumber and livestock?? That will poison your animals. Bad idea.
