  • Mike Repole owned Forte, who was the favorite for Derby 149 and was scratched that morning by the vet for a bruise on his right front hoof. Now, he's back with Fierceness.

    People will be putting this year's Kentucky Derby under a microscope with a the deaths of our beautiful athlete friends preceding last year's derby. Everyone has a right to be skeptical that new legislation won't mean a thing.
