Maturing is realizing that “human level” is very different from reality and different between verses. Is it usually the result of authors not caring about or considering power levels that much with their “peak human” characters? I think so. But the feats are the feats.
I know. People just assume a fictional human must be exactly lile rea life. They dont understand that in fiction anything is possible especially unrealistic things. Characters like Krillin from dbz or saitama are so strong they can casually destroy planets despite being human. So in fiction anythimg is possible

@@eduardopantoja9115 yeah you are right. That makes sense. There are too many "grounded and realistic" batmen. Nolan, reeves. I swear enough with the realistic batman trope. However there are a lot of comic book readers who also downplay batman to a realistic human. They are perfectly fine with other human characters who do crazy feats in dc and marvel (and in other fictional media) but when it comes to batman they have this double standard only for him. Also batman's popularity is also a factor. Most people are only aware of the crazy feats batman does and not other comic human characters because the other characters are not as iconic as batman so they are not aware of other characters insane feats. So they think it only applies to batman.

Batman in his own book is usually pretty good. I like the grounded stuff where he's the world's greatest detective, one of the best fighters and has a bunch of nifty gadgets. Too far beyond that and I start scratching my head.

Spider-Man is far more consistent than batman which is why batman is simultaneously cap level and superman level considering he can kick wonder women hurting her and knock her put with pressure points. Batman tests enemies in his fights, Batman's gear is definitely adjustable. Failsafe fight is a great example of base gear suit taking damage.

If you actually read the Batman comics also the fact as if he had so much prep time to get rid of Omni man he technically can and besides if he’s able to deal with wonder, woman and Superman, especially wonder, woman consider the fact that she has no weaknesses. As much as Omni man seems like how terrifying he seems like he’s not comparable to Superman or wonder woman because even wonder woman by herself can even defeat Thragg by herself. Batman is made of layer upon layer of plot armor to the point that it's absolutely obnoxious. I used to be a huge Batman fan because he was the "normal human" who, through skill and hard work, could keep up with supers. At this point, he's fully a super human of extreme power, which is why he's no longer cool. He's just any other super.

I don't think peak human should be a power scaling term because it doesn't really say what the character can do without further contex two characters can be peak human but being completely different theirs with completely different abilities. So the term itself isn't very useful in a Powers scaling context.

Batman has all the tools to neutralize Spider-Sense if that’s even needed-Batman has evaded Superman’s senses so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he could passively negate it. He’d also pretty quickly figure Spidey’s gameplan in a random encounter. Once he’s figured out Spider-Sense, Spider-Man becomes another routine metahuman fight for Batman; easy clap for the Caped Crusader. 🦇

The truth is if an advanced AI had to powerscale each character what they would do is take every characters feats and add or deduct points for each feat and anti feat for example if batman dodges lasers and tanks a hit from wonderwoman then in another comic gets a rib broken fighting some thug or get tagged with a bullet you would add a point for the first 2 feat then remove points for the anti feats. Then just repeat the process panel by panel page by page for every comic canon to that version of the character until you come to an average.

Same thing with Batman vs the author if it's his own comic the author wins via erasing him off the panel but if it's justice league Batman then he would have prepped off screen or panel and created a portal to the real world along with 10th metal armor that bypasses Author authority and grants him boundless power he then enters the real world pulls the author into DC and throws him in arkham. If finally it's logic vs Batman then normal Batman loses but JL Batman says "I'm Batman" and then logic quivers in fear and surrenders.

Now one argument I would bring to the table is that one of the reasons why Batman comes out on top against Superman more often than not is usually due to the fact that the latter always holds back against him. Just like Bruce, Kal refuses to murder anyone, let alone someone as personally close to him as Batman. Omni-Man, on the other hand, is mostly going to go in for the kill against his enemies. However, this isn’t to say Omni-Man would win, but rather he has a higher chance of beating Batman for this reason than Superman, similarly to your argument about how Homelander could defeat Captain Planet: their differing morality.

That makes no difference because even a "holding back, not wanting to kill" superman is MASSIVELY stronger than omniman. The power gap is so massive that a bloodlusted omniman is like a toddler compared to a holding back superman. Also in the video he even mentioned a bloodlusted (looks like a demon possessed) wonderwoman (who is also massively stronger than omniman). Which only widens the gap even further. So not even close.
Also he recently made a video why spiderman would not survive is Gotham and mentionally all the insane things Batman is able to handle that spidey cant. The video is not exactly about who wins between spidey vs batman but its somewhat similar to that.
Also fun fact . Superman once accidentally sneezed and all the planets and everything in our solar system were blown away and he had to hurry and put them back in their proper place. Because Omni-man is not escaping the Phantom Zone, and he's not fast enough to evade the Phantom projector's speed either and to top it off, it is more likely that he just stands there and tries to tank the projection because he thinks it's some weak human gun or invention that would simply bounce off or tickle him.
So regardless of speed and power, if they are in character, Batman is more likely to use drastic measures immediately than not, and Omni-man is more likely to arrogantly try and no sell whatever comes his way ending in his loss.

Since the DK Returns run every wannabe writer tries to make Batman Invincible. Omni Man isn't Superman. He's not a boyscout, utterly ruthless, and clearly has no KRYPTONITE weaknesses. Batman can dodge bullets, lasers, and even speedsters because these writers want to utilize every ounce of coolness there is in the character.
