- Christ Cadis C17 with light and dark green sensomix brushes at Morrisons (MFG) in Halfway, Sheffield. Installed in early 2023.
Just like a lot of Wilcomatic car washes these days, I was massively let down by the lack of foam (or water should I say) applied during the pre-wash. The high pressure nozzles and wheel wash brushes also failed to function - disappointing to say the least given that this a 19 month old machine. Despite this, the wash and dry was pretty good. 6/10

Nice video mate! I have finally planned my Sheffield Car Wash trip which I will hopefully be doing in 2-3 weeks. I will try and visit the new Tesco Christ Alpha on Abbeydale Rd as it doesn’t look too far from the Primus.
@@CarWashesUK05 Thank you pal. I’ve actually been thinking about trying out the Alpha at Abbeydale (potentially my for next video?), but navigating that part of Sheffield is a real pain especially if it involves driving through the city centre 🫠
Great video as always. the foam and high pressure pre wash was terrible what i seen. I would have got refunded if I saw that happen on our car. I thought brushing and drying was great as usual.
There is a WashTec SoftCare Pro Classic at Jet in Stocksbridge that has lightshow just like Shell in Doncaster and Gulf in Barnsley.
Can't wait for Crystal Peaks video tomorrow.
@@carwashestvchannel1685 Oh aye absolutely, thankfully this was just the gold wash but even so the high pressure and foam (or water to be more precise) was absolute shite - I was almost having thoughts about cutting the pre wash out of the video as it was so disappointing! The brush wash and dry were both pretty good though, so it sort of made up for it.
I don’t want to spoil tomorrow’s video by any means, but put it this way…. The 14 year old Primus up the road did a far more thorough job than these newer Christ systems.

@@carwashestvchannel1685 I haven’t been up that part of Barnsley for a while, but I just know for a fact that both yellow SoftCares will have defo been replaced just like the one in Mexborough was.
