Full credit, a hairy arsed bike builder opening up on very hard personal shit trying to help others, so much truth in what you’re saying my mum had problems much the same. Thanks for your second back bone Liz. Good luck buddy and love to Liz.❤️👍
Big love mate
You're a huge help to many people by chronicling your journey Ralfy, Sir Ralfson. Life is a long road as you know, and often a bumpy one. I've said it before, but I give you a ton of credit for this!
Thanks buddy
Brilliant stuff Ralphy. I learn a lot from your bike videos but this really is top notch. I'm one of the quiet ones that don't admit to mental health. The way I was brought up, you just get on with it. These videos are eye openers for a lot of folk. Thanks
Thanks Stevie, really appreciate it
Well done brother for having the will power and good sence to beat your addictions, you're right about writing down your own reasons why you need to kick the poisonous prescribed meds they have pushed at you for years. You must have one hell of a strength of character and imagination to be where you are now and be so good at your bike building. It's also incredible how you keep that brilliant sense of humour whilst suffering as you have been is commendable. Power to you mate.
Thanks Graham mate
Mate your a legend and stronger than most men , vape on and stay strong brother
Thanks buddy
I was on 7.5 for insomnia and I slept really well. However I gained 40 lbs FAST and started having a lot of health problems from the weight gain. So I dropped to 3.5 for 2 mths. Now I’m taking 1.75 (cutting them into 1/3) and the withdrawal side effects have been bad! I’m very depressed and suicidal, itchy and my face feels numb.
Stick with it dude, those will all pass, thank you for sharing
How are you now?
Thanks for putting yourself out there Ralfy. You're making a difference with your refreshingly candid account. Mental health affects whole families, so everyone can learn something from your story. Stay focussed and keep strong mate.
Thanks buddy
Omg its like im telling my story im trying to get off pregablin and mirtizapin my god the withdrawal ar terrible horrendous so glad i came across your videos x

I appreciate that! Thank you so much
Brilliant. xx
Thank you
Well done mate, you've made fantastic progress over the last couple of months, I think these videos on this topic are going to be a great help to many, thanks for posting and for being so open about all the issues
Thanks buddy
We shall see mate
You're an amazingly brave guy Ralfy. I came off Lyrica a couple years back and it takes a few months. I'm on other meds too that I need to think about seriously. We've had alcohol problems in our family so I know how hard that is to come off. Not me personally but relatives. It didn't end well, it's an awful way to go so if you've come off that you one strong guy. I wish you the very best Ralfy 👍
Thanks buddy, lyrica next for me, I'll give this a couple of months first mind you
Huge respect to you for doing this Ralfy! Some really good points here. I really hope this helps others that are in/or going through the same thing. I'm doing far better without the prescription stuff than I ever did on it. Some of yopur Club brothers and family have been there for me too.
I hope so too! Thanks so much
Well done Ralfy, you really are a ledgend mate. Talking about what you've been through and how you battled to get off prescription medication is of great help to many. Keep up the good fight mate..
Much appreciated
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Fritz mate
Looking good, Ralfy.
My 92 year old mother-in-law has been on Mirtazapine for as long as anyone can remember
however she is still as sharp as a needle. She just can't let go, so we don't mention it.
Pharma has done very well out of her.
Thanks buddy, bless her that's quite remarkable eh
You’re just a good man Ralphy.
Thanks buddy
I think you’ve found your niche in life, this style of discussion suits you, when people speak of things they’ve experienced it’s easy for them. You’re a good man Ralphy. You also brush up well 😎. After years of “misbehaving” I’m kind of sorted but as a result I no longer sleep more than 2 hrs a night. (Small price to pay). I’m now in my 60’s and it’s taken a lifetime to get where I am now but it’s better than nothing. Thanks Ralphy. 👍
Thanks buddy, but 2 hours! Fuck that lol, there's got to be a natural solution to that
@@RalfyCustoms there’s no way round putting the effort in. 😎
I’m the same as you Ralfy igor a fatty liver and only found out afte reading my notes, I would love to here more about your diet
Sorry to hear that dude, yeah I'm planning on covering the dietary changes I've made
Fantastic content Ralfy as always! Keep going brother.
Thanks, will do!
Ralfy, you're a bloody good egg mate, onwards and upwards brother ❤️
Much appreciated buddy, nice to hear from you, lots of love to you and yours 🙏
@@RalfyCustoms ❤️🙏💪
Very interesting videos, thanks for sharing Ralfy, probably the wrong thing to say but I am looking forward to the next one.
Glad you enjoyed it, yeah I'm looking forward to making it 😀
Fair play to you Ralph never easy sharing these things
Inspiring to say the the least
Thanks buddy
Well done ralfy I was on duloxetin for two years a horrible horrible drug I felt much worse when on it and had no sense of danger I got myself in some very tricky situations keep up the good work👍
Thanks mate, yeah I had a go at that one for a bit, horrible shit, like most of them
I was on 45mg remeron for almost 5 years and weined down like you did. It took me about 6 months before I felt normal and I'm so glad I got off if it. The only thing I used to help after was cannabis/cbd oil and I don't use that anymore either.
Yeah I've started using cannabis again, after over 10 yrs clean, I was a serious stoner for a couple of decades or so, now I'm a 3 drags lightweight lol, seriously helps though, just cbd oil and a joint a week
@@RalfyCustoms due to my extremely addictive personality I started treating it like all the other stuff. I couldn't do anything or go anywhere without smoking first but I am an advocate for it. I've seen it work wonders on people just not me unfortunately
Mate, you are my hero, keep it going, your doin great
Much appreciated buddy 🙏
I simply want to say Thank You ❤️
You are so welcome
Thank you .
You are welcome!
Really helpful and some practical suggestions to. It is a long journey but knowing you are going in the right direction... having your list of reasons we are doing this and things to regularly monitor... that means acknowledging things are changing... for the better. Thanks again.
Thanks buddy
❤❤
💛👍💛
Thanks
Thanks buddy
Much love and respect brother Ralphy
Thanks buddy
Thanks buddy
I love his transparency! Thanks. I dealt wtih anxiety for a long time. What helped me a lot was mindfulness meditation. I used a book called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels to learn some meditation practices that I still do often.
Thank you
Great vlog fella hope you keep marching on.
Thanks buddy
Good on you brother . The drug companies couldn't careless about what their shit does to people it's all about money for them . . Alot of the problem's people have is the shit in our food now days it's killing us
Oh absolutely brother
I found routine helped me with getting off medication . Also with alcohol ralfy your doing amazing and im sure this will help alot of people 👍🏼
Thanks buddy
may i ask what do you do for a living?
That is so helpful
I’ll was on my way to see the quack and ask to put me on something to help me
with my what if head
As I call it
I’ve not been sleeping
Find it difficult to concentrate on anything
My heart rate goes through the roof
It was a point when I was bad that I could hear voices people talking about me, self harming
Thankfully that has all changed
I don’t think you realise what a good job you’re doing
What you say is believable
Not what you used to hearing people that haven’t walked that walk . Keep it up Ralphie . Thank you Fella
Thanks buddy and well done 👏
Hi, thank you so much for sharing your experience.
You helped me a lot with this video.
I did quit mirtazepine now for a month. And I totally recognise your story. I feel much better however I just can’t seem to sleep.
I know every person reacts differently but I was wondering how you are doing now?
And if you are able to sleep reasonable hours and such.
Greetings from Lieke
Glad it was helpful Liek
I'm a few months clear now, and my sleeps still shot, I often wake at 2 or 3 am unless I take a strong antihistamine
Good luck on your journey buddy
Thank You for sharing Ralfy, excellent job so far and rock solid advice. If I may.... I think milk thistle may help with the liver also, I'm by no means a doctor or food scientist though. Thank You and big love Ralfy.
Thanks Jessie, I use milk thistle for my liver 👍
Gday Ralfy, I’m still on Mirtazapine 45 and I’m absolutely over it, I was in a bad place and I’ve always wondered if it was the medication or the people around me with all the support that made/makes the difference, do you have the Whatsup app?, Great great video and topic mate, can’t thank you and Liz enough…
I'll email you mate, big love
Keep it up dude. Melatonin is good for the insomnia. (small doses).
Thanks buddy
Pat Thompson
Were you able to play sports and workout while on it ?
I didn't do either at that time mate
Hi mate all the best trevor jump on the hog and go for a blast 👍 😂😂
G'day Uncle Trevor mate, hope you're in the pink mate, give Matty a nipple wrench for us 😉
Did you lose bones and muscles when you stayed on it 40 years ?
No more than a natural amount as far as I know?
I'm now 12 stone and in reasonable shape for my age/medical etc
Keep ‘em coming Ralfy. Respect x
I'll do my best mate
