- A potential fix to try for the common FORD AUDIO WELCOME message that is stuck on the radio display. Try replacing the fuse labelled no.21 behind the glove box. Post below if it helped fix the problem!
My sons Radio hasn't worked since we bought the car. Was getting ready to finally order a new one and ran across this. Its been right at a year.. lol thanks for posting. I swear everythings online!

Actually it helped a lot! I was adviced to change the front panel or the cd player or everything and all I had to do was to change this fuse in order to work again!

I got a co - worker here with the same issue. Tried a Junkyard unit and it did the same thing. I found that someone said to take the radio apart. Two black torx screws loosen them don't remove. Then remove 4 silver torx screws. Pop cover off. I disconnected the ribbon wire for cd player mech and I flexed the board slightly and repasted the two IC chips with thermal paste and both radio's worked.
Replaced my "radio" fuse earlier and didn't fix this so when I have time let's hope this fuse will fix it, I'm not gonna do a whole radio interface swap but this is manageable enough

I haven't got the diagram of the fuse locations as shown on the glove box back. Will have to have a chat with the Ford main dealer.

was you able to connect? hit the phone button and then menu. to play music once your BT connected hit Aux and the hit menu. hit the seek button until bluetooth shows hit Ok. just did this 2 minutes ago. hope it helps!

Didn't work. Fuse is good. Replaced it with 2 new ones. Stuck on Welcome still.
